@@amirmatthews7385 That's your own meaning|ess and empty interpretation. A relationship that does not exist if it can be changed so easily with dub. The relationship they have is similar to the one of Dan and Drago. It's an improvement because it suits the character better.

Helios is pretty strong of a Bakugan though. The power creep with Hydranoid was different since we saw other stronger Darkus Bakugan. Also Alice didn’t like to brawl as much as the other brawlers did. So that could also explain why Hydranoid didn’t appear in later seasons of the Bakugan anime.

I heard it had something to do with Shun letting go of his mother being dead. Skyress was that symbol and this is why all of his other partners resemble Ninjas more than birds later on

@DJ Prime I agree thus in season 2 skyress also symbolized as shun's mother again well more like his bakugan mother and shown in her eyes as shun's growth from a boy to a young man for her to be proud of and ready to let go of as a mother not just his old partner.

⁠@@DJPrimeAmvsWell in the Japanese version of this anime, it’s confirmed for her to pass away. In the US version it’s unconfirmed if Shun’s mom passed away or not. Since we didn’t anything pertaining to her in the other seasons of the Bakugan anime.
