The original composer was not a woman, it was the lead guitarist of Shocking Blue Robbie van Leeuwen and Mariska Veres was the singer.

This is why I usually do not comment to videos. The negative comments. You both missed the point I was trying to make in support of Andreea Munteanu. She picked a song, song by someone. The "who" does not really matter. She picks these songs and somehow adapts her voice to sort of match, which always amazes me, and then puts a twist on it to make it her own.

This is an excellent song, the power of the voice of Mariska Veres took it to the first places with the Dutch Shocking Blue at the end of the 60's....Bananarama a British band of excellent singers, all of them talented women gave it the new sound and he made it a hit...it's a classic rock song...your version and the arrangement goes with the style and sound of Bananarama it's very good congratulations👏👏🎤💎💎💎👌👌💯💐🌹🌷🙆🙆
