Ya i could have done that, but i wanted to get the KO with venusaur for fun, and since I knew there was a switch in my deck i could use I wasnt all that worried about it. sometimes you got to gamble a little bit lol. Thanks for the support hope you enjoy the other content as well!

Maybe, but I feel like vs dark decks you hit for weakness so your already one shoting them, and anything else you don't do enough damage to 1 shot regardless. So investing the resources hurts more then helps.

@@professorgnome I think it helps as you are going to pretty much one-shot a bunch of Pokémon or possibly kill them with poison before your next turn. Example 1: you hit Chen Pao/other 210-220 basic for 200 instead of 160 (including poison here). Opponent must either retreat or die between turns. If he retreats, then he wastes some energy and it plays similarly to no jungle/sneazler. If he attacks, you get 2-prizes and get to hit a fresh Pokémon. Example 2: You OHKO Charizard instead of leaving it with 20 HP and a chance to attack/Turos. You are also killing Rotom V, Lumineon, and Squawk if you can gust them. Example 3: Lugia Vstar/R.Bolt has 280/240 hp, you hit for 200 and make him confused. If he attacks, he may take 30 from confusion and another 50 from poison...a KO between turns. You are really only replacing R.Serena and two other cards to make this happen, so it shouldn't hurt consistency very much. Also, I think you get more value from the damage than the little extra healing.

It could be good, but I don't think it makes a big different since you still 2 shot everything regardless of the added poison damage

I tried H Snealser + Swamp in my Venasaur ex for 50 extra poison damage. Main use is to KO any basic ex from poison on the turn back to you.

So I messed with it for a bit and for me it just felt kinda clunky. I tried adding Iono and I tried adding some arvens. The list that feels the best for me right now for Venusaur runs 4 arvens, 2 tm turbo energize, 1 heavy baton, and then runs the tatsugiri to look for supporters. I also have the rotom v for extra draw.

Ya, the new Ogerpon helps it so much. I tried to make Venesaur work so badly but it was super slow with 3 manual energy attachments. It just got demolished by everything.

The problem I have is that gardenias is just a bad card and doesn't add enough value. If it could go onto the active that be one thing but plus it doesn't give enough draw support in the early game when I would much rather dig for 7 with research or something. It could be better, but overall I'm not a fan of gardenia as. A card.

I was thinking this too. It could also stand to have some exp shares or maybe a Blissey or 2.

Ya that would also be fine, the main reason I run cock is that you don't always have another venusaur set up so if you pick it up you don't have many options plus you have to power it up again. But with cock and venusaurs healing you get to live another hit almost every time
