I cried many times... What a movie.. Aamir khan acting is tooo much real... What a actor he is....

This was one reason why Bollywood stopped making such good films as they flopped due to no audience, whereas south movies had numerous such films which were super hits, I am from Kerala although brought up in Uttar Pradesh, its not true that North India does not have talented writers, its just that the public rejected them for example like this one. First start appreciating good movies, good writers, good directors, good actors and you will automatically start seeing such good movies being produced and directed. Remember its audience who decides what he wants to watch. Jai Hind!

I always loved this movie, but things change when you become a dad. I have a 8 year old son now and now I watch this one alone. Do not want others to see myself crying. :) Maybe will watch with my son when he becomes a dad!

What a beautiful film. I used to love its songs. Today I remembered Raja ko Rani se Pyaar hogya and decided to watch it. I had no idea it was such an emotional roller coaster with great performances. The story, acting, music, direction and dialogues, everything was perfect. The movie wasn't as big a hit as Qayamat se Qayamat Tak but showed Mansoor Khan's brilliance in every frame. Loved every bit of it and cried so much.

The first movie which actually bring tears to my eyes Papa l❤u so much

The movie went in the right direction until first half, but in second half it went down and portrayed Manisha as guilty, not once did the hero apologizes to his wife for ignoring her in the marriage and her dreams and ambitions. He assumes his wife to do all the chores and forget about her dreams and when she asks for even little help like providing her voice recording to the people he meets or take her to his recording sessions, he blatantly refuses. I would have loved if the husband would have accepted that he was a jerk in the marriage and it is his fault that lead his wife to take such a bold step. Here, in the second half, Manisha's character apologizes for all that happened and the society blames her but not once did the people around "Rohit(Hero)" even give a proper scolding or make him realize his actions..........!! Funny how, had the roles have been swapped and that it was the Actress who had been adamant and at fault, we would have definitely have had a scene where the actress's best friend or neighbor or mother would have thrashed her( through hurtful words) and scolded her and made her realize her fault (eg- ref. movie Judaai). But I guess women are always supposed to make the marriage work, and Men are exempted from this so thats how the film goes. I was really disappointed at the ending. watch if you want to get your hopes all up thinking that the film is progressive (considering other movies during that period) as they didn't demonize Actress for her leaving the house in the first half but in second half, the actress cries and apologizes and gives up the custody of her child, which she legally gets, and stays at her husband's place while the husband says "Ye ghar tumhara bhi h Kiran" not even a "Sorry", CAN YOU IMAGINE!!!!!!!!!!!!! and this takes me to the courtroom trial, the actress was questioned brutally but the lead Hero gets to deliver a monologue of how he loves his child and wants custody irrespective that he is unemployed and takes rash decisions with regards to his career!! the Trial scene reminded me Amber heard and Johnny Depp's trial...........however the Wife in the movie is not Amber heard in any way and the Husband in this movie doesn't deserves to be considered as Johnny Depp

What a wonderfully patriarchal storyline. She was never wrong, still got scolded by her husband at every point...first he didn't help her achieve her goals and when she made her own life, she was taged "wrong"..Greatt.... And till the very end of the movie, it was only the girl who apologised, he only taunted her nd didn't even bother to listen to her even once or understand her feelings..... Nd....when a father does something for a child that's a SACRIFICE and when a mother does,it's not even worth considering cz its a DUTY..... Seriously.... It's crystal clear why this movie did not become a hit....

From really long time I was wondering why I can't feel the emotions and get involved in any movie completely... I thought I might have become mature now so I cannot get connected or relate to any fictional story or movie but watching this movie today made me realise that it was not about how mature I have become but the thing is that today's movies are failing to engage us to this level... There are mutiple reasons for this like now the supporting actors are not that good.... In fact the main leads fail to express the emotions to their audience....it is purely a masterpiece and Amir khan made me cry multiple times 😊
