If you're playing bass drum in the Dies Irae and you don't come out dressed like a member of Gwar and use a warhammer as a mallet, well you're just not living your life right. Most badass große trommel part ever written.

Thanks a lot. One of the best record of thie piece and the score for the pleasure of the eyes too. :D Even with training some parts are dificult to read and listen in the same time without get lost ahah

Verdi aparte de sus óperas también compuso otras obras. Esta 👇 es una de ellas. No conozco mucho el catálogo de Verdi, solo conozco sus óperas, pero esta obra es bellísima y junto con las óperas, creo que Verdi merece un puesto entre los grandes de la música 🎶 😉 junto con Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann....entre otros muchos que también son buenos.

Estoy de acuerdo contigo, pero lo más seguro que no está con ellos es que en sus óperas hay mucho cultismo y aunque ellos mismos como Beethoven en su sinfonía no. 9 puso místico elementos en su coro, la énfasis no era tanto como lo que hizo Verdi en sus óperas, pero por su música orquestal merece cien por ciento su lugar entre los grandes

@@oliverulloa4606 Ich würde eher sagen, alle Streichinstrumente. Zudem Werk passt auch gut der Oktobass.

Just watched a video of Monserrat Caballe rehersing Libera Me (at 1:20 here). Took 3 tries to get the right note coming in solo on the recitative. For lots of reasons, this is a difficult piece.

My dumb brain at the beginning of the Introit: This is quite nice, how've I never listened to this piece before? Me once I reached the Dies Irae: Ohhhhh it's THIS one... Still a great movement, but definitely overplayed.
