Two great Romanian opera singers, at the beginning of their international carreers, soprano Leontina Vaduva - Gilda - and Baritone Alexandru Agache - Rigoletto - excellent in this part. Richard Leech is singing his heart out. Bravi!

I love how Leontina Vaduva's sweater flips colours around during her close-up. Throughout the video, it is Red on her left shoulder and black on her right shoulder. Suddenly @3:50 it switches to black on her left and red on her right. Also, she's using the opposite hand to turn the score page. Then it goes back the other way, as evidenced especially @5:25. Someone flipped the image on it, methinks. Devil sorcery! LOL

I Heard Richard Leech only once in Les Huguenots and it was something incredible ! The whole audience was absolutely creasy and overwhelmed by emotion to discover such a fantastic tenor, it was in Paris in 1992/3 I don't exactly remember. I am afraid his carrier has not been carefully conducted, I don't know, but I never had an other opportunity to heard him again in Europe.
