I love criminal law, I’ve been a prosecutor and now a defense attorney, but this was a horrible case, I’m from this community and this guy did “enormous “ damage to so many people, and violated his duty as a border patrol agent. Since you have a certain amount of influence, please advocate for mandatory lie detector tests for all law enforcement, lawyers, and judges before they can be given a position of authority. This has been done in Ithaca N.Y. to great effect by the Ithaca PD. Sociopaths and criminals are naturally attracted to careers in law enforcement for obvious reasons. Lie detector tests are not a magic pill, but they can help weed out the bad apples. This needs to be done across the United States. The worst kind of criminal is the one who operates with impunity under cover of the law.

There could be no other verdict, but guilty. What he did to those women was evil and cruel. The worst thing was he looked so average and normal, and being a border agent, those women would have trusted him. He is a true psychopath, no empathy or remorse for his crimes. He had his 'Fun' and now he has to pay for his vile actions, by being locked up for life, and being left to rot. His wife is in serious denial, and to think she calls herself a Christian, and excuses her husbands murderous actions is beyond belief, maybe she needs locking up too.

There are times where a jury will disagree during the poll. It rarely happens. Last hope.

"Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord!" Whatever "Vengeance" the Lord enacts will be equal to the blood this man has taken. This is a broken man, but his soul will pay a heftier price. Amen to these families and may the victim's rip!😔

Femicide is horrific but even more so is that it is being carried out by law enforcers. What a betrayal of trust and power. I am so sad for the families of the victims and the many Hispanic women who live at high risk of femicide where up to 95% of these deaths go unpunished. I am so grateful this POA is finally put away.
