There is NO bonus check in September. All it is if you watch the video is people on SSI will receive 2 checks (Sept 1 and Sept 30) the Sept 30 check is actually their October check early because the 1st/2nd falls on a weekend. End of story.

This is old news. I'm on social security and I get paid on the 3rd of the month, or before, depending on weekends or holidays, regardless of what day of the week it is. If the 3rd falls on monday, and it happens to be a holiday, I will get paid on the last day of the previous month.

With 31 days in October that means you have to make that payment last more than a month Before your next check as November 1st is a weekday.

I'm on SSDI that's a social security income and I'm also on Social Security disabled insurance I do get two checks I do got a letter that says you'll get more money but it just did not say what in September you supposed to receive

@@miquel5041 I know someone that gets two separate checks. One for SSI and the other for SSDI. Not illegal. The SSDI only adds to your SSI it doesn't replace it. For instance the minimum is around $600 for SSI. Minimum SSDI adds about $200 to that.

I receive my ss check on the second Wednesday of every month, but I’m going to try and get disability as well. I’ve just heard horror stories about trying to get it. I’m 72 and have no idea how to apply. Guess I need to contact a social security office to seek some help with that. I sure could use some extra help with my bills. I’m convinced that our government doesn’t care about their elderly!

Usually that's what you'll have to do. You can call and ask if they can do your application over the phone, but make sure when you call, that your disability issue is in the Social Security category as a disability. I hope this helps some.

It's so sad that people are making click bait videos to get views by getting elderly people excited about getting money that is not coming that they desperately need. I'm so sick of these people doing this to our senior citizens. My mom thought she was getting extra money this month first thing she said is maybe I can get more groceries. And I showed her this video the disappointment on her face broke my heart I'll help her as I always do but I want so badly to see these fake videos going around to be taken down. Another senior is thinking they are getting help and it's not coming and maybe they don't have a son to help them.

I lost $788,000 in wages, I was not fully reimbursed for medical and fought four years to get SSDI. Had I not paid off my home, and had savings, 401k to fall back on we would have been homeless. Thank you so much every once in awhile I used to watch these videos all the time and nothing ever came of it and it's been a lot of videos out right now and they're telling people they're getting double bonuses more money in the month this is not new I get paid on the 3rd of the month if it falls on a Saturday or Sunday they pay me on Friday and then the next month they'll do the same thing according to when the third is this is not new it's been this way like forever all these other videos are just trying to get people to listen join them by paying pain and I'm sorry I don't even have the little bit to waste on that the president Biden promise even before he want he promised it would be more money for us and stimulus and we haven't received any except the first one that came out before him and the rest of it came out after him but right now as his time as president he could sign a directive to mandate that people get a little something especially those that make under $30,000 and for myself I make a lot less than that we need help now

You have to call to apply and make sure that your disability falls in the disabled category group for benefits.
