The VF-1 Valkyrie is a transformable fighter aircraft that can switch between three modes: Fighter, Gerwalk, and Battroid. The VF-1 is piloted by characters in the Macross universe, and is one of the most iconic mecha in anime history.
The VF-1A SFV-26 Cavalier (VF-1A SFV-26 キャヴァリアーズ Bui Efu Ichi Ei Esu Efu Bui Nijūroku Kyavu~ariāzu) is a custom variable fighter featured in the Super Dimension Fortress Macross television series. They're a dark-colored variants of the VF-1A Valkyries that were used in Space War I.
Their first and only animated appearance to date is in episode 5 of the original series. Their official name was established with the release of the Yamato 1/60|1/60 VF-1A SFV-26 Cavaliers from Yamato.

VF-0からそうだが、がウォーク形態で発進はしない。ファイター形態が基本だから！バトロイド形態になる前に高速ホバー走行する。バトロイド形態からファイター形態になるときに揚力を稼ぐ為に、地上で高速戦闘を行う為にがウォーク形態は有るのだから！

基地から発進後にファイターに変形するならわざわざ格納庫内でガウォークに変形して発進しなくてもよいのでは…と思った。インテークのシャッターも大気圏内なら閉じなくてもいいような…

It actually makes sense considering the time frames involved and how quickly they were standing up the RDF that they would have relied on member governments. I could easily imagine that the UK would have been operating one or more Prometheus or Deadalus class carriers and would have named her the Ark Royal. The Zentraedi would have known they were in trouble when they ran into IDF Valkyries! 😉

Love the grounded military foundation. I'm not familiar so much with British military platform designations. What does the S in SVF (fixed wing) stand for in the squadron designation? Love what you're doing.

Great video. Run the little text bits for a bit longer, hard to read them as they flash by. Very funny idea that there were British VTs, but I expect there could have been. Very creative and well executed. You ever want to animate one of my stories, I would love it.

The sound design is kind of mid. The metallic ratcheting sounds for the elevators do not match the size, scale, and mass of what we're seeing. It's sort of the sound of a draw bridge being lilfting for example. I'm not hating on the work. I really do love Macross/Robotech. It's just the weakest part of the video.

キャバリアーズの元ネタはTVにちらっと出ていました。格納庫で駐機状態のワンカットだけだったと思いますが。それをもとにキャバリアーズって名称が後につけられてやまとの可変バルキリーでも発売されました。

Because these guys are idiots, and they mix the designs that were used in SDF Macross TV, which was used by Harmony Gold to create Robotech, and then they use designs from SDF Macross Do You Remember Love? movie, which was never, ever in HG's possession nor is it part of Robotech.

@@tehpw7574 I'm tired of being nice. Besides, we're not dealing with a bunch of fans doing this for the love of the original series. This is a Chinese group that if you paid attention, instead of getting carried away by blind and mediocre fanaticism, you would see that they are only looking to profit from nostalgia. They are not interested in quality or improvement, they release these videos with poor editing, effects that feel very, very old, and of course, with so many incongruities that the cringe is felt by the real fans. I invite you to search here on youtube, a video also in CGI, called Macross Skull Squadron. It is made by a single person, with great attention to detail. That is a real fan that does things with love, with knowledge of the series, and does not seek to profit above all things as this channel does.

It was more a question of design, Kawamori and Mikimoto put badges on it just to "show the character", Claudia Lasalle had the green and yellow uniform for the colors of the Brazilian flag, the same happened with the mechas of the "filler characters" "(they were all the same) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ordni7CIuM-shX0.html
