Heard a pair of Pasifals many yrs ago & i was very impressed by its huge soundstage & stupendous dynamics coming from relatively slim floorstanders. Yet they are also very subtle, sophisticated & smooth. For me they are like BBC monitors on steroids. And oh that imaging & depth they provide. Great stuff. Only downside was the bass. It could get a tad overblown in smaller rooms & a good amp is mandatory like most hi end spks to control the bass

Thanks I presently have a Mcintosh c2600 tube preamp and a Mcintosh mc462 power amp. They are an excellent combination of your typical sound from Mcintosh. They have lots of power not over bearing but safe.I would say a safe choice for amplification. Now I’m prepared to look for different sound. You have given me some great alternatives.

That divaish, elegant presentation of the Leonore is also present on the Amadis and Sarastro? Or the Leonore excell on this aspect the most?

Hello from Montreal again. If I came across a pair of Leonores what integrated amp would you pair it with, without going crazy....also what cables. These speakers are 93 db. I will probably trade up my Fidelios and get the Leonores. How’s your golf season? Canada is just easing restrictions and golf is the only sport that you can play. Our hockey team the Canadians are in the semi finals so we have lots of sports to watch. Euro, pga and tennis. Enjoy your summer .

Hello from Montreal, Verity speakers are produced in Quebec city three hours north of Montreal. They are even unknow here, not mainstream like Totem and Paradigm. They are expensive. I investigated and found that Veritys are only available in a few shops in the whole country (very niche). Presently there are no used Verity's available on Canuckaudio. The models like the Ottellos start at 22000$, Sarastro starts at 62000$ and the Lohengrin starts at 122000$ canadian plus tax....I've had to start prostituting myself again to save up for the Ottellos.
