I bundled Verizon 5G home internet with my phone plan and my bill is about $120 a month with premium on both plans.

I’m 20 miles from a city so I got the $500 yealink outdoor router from Amazon I pulled my SIM card as I have the old unit with SIM card still. I suppose one could request a SIM card if you have the new unit. Plug in the APN number and SIM card and now I get solid 300. Sometimes slight over. With low end of 200 and good ping as well. I mounted mine on a pole on top my workshop building and it’s awesome.

I just got it , the instructions where very different from the experience , it’s says it will take 10 minutes plus 15 2 active the wifi but it took less than 5 minutes 4 da hole thing 2 be activated & fully working . It’s worth it . 🔥

You mention speed in mega bytes, it's actually mega bits. 1 mega byte is 8 mega bits.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, i plugged it in and put it in my window in my living room and its getting 3 bars and i got no red light in the setup but I'm not getting any internet. EDIT: internet started working after rebooting, i thought it was something wrong with the equipment.

lol, that happened to me, my issue was I needed to call Verizon to start it u on my account, then it worked all fine.

I wanted to give this a try, but its not available in my area for some reason. Its odd because I remember I got a flyer in the mail over a year ago from Verizon saying that I was able to get the service. But when I put in my address, it tells me its not available.

My speed was horrendous. 50mb next to the box and 4 upload. On a 1000 plan. Terrible.

@@marisreviewchannel They have a brand new box available so I will give it a shot. Though honestly, the speeds I’m getting with ATT is insane. My upload is almost as fast as my download and my ping is less than half what it is with Verizon.

I am getting anywhere from 100 to 300 meg with this service. The speeds depend on your location and how far you are from the tower. This video was more of an unboxing of the router. Thanks for watching.

I think you can, you might have to let Verizon know you are traveling and need to move your service temporary to the new location.

You don’t have to have a plan, but if you do have a plan like a Verizon phone already and you add the Internet then all you would end up paying is $35 a month without maybe higher

No, you don't have to have a phone plan with them, but if you do as I do, I only pay $45 for the unlimited Plus plan.

Lol, I've had this company as my cell service, never had an issue with them. I am loving the super fast high speed though. This same service with my previous company, I was paying $113 so $45 a month is a blessing to me.

I had the same concern about service and my understanding is that the 5g infrastructure is way above what it was a few years ago. I just signed up to save money and Verizon has better prices and faster speed compared to my current fiber. Time will tell though, we shall see 🤷‍♂️
