Jack1435 has it right. Mine didn't work until I physically disconnected the hard wire from the ground service. I now have all (and that's about 7) wall outlets working in my home. Its a very good piece of hardware and has been working good for a little over a year now. Great review though!

U need to DISCONNECT the standard line from the outside of the house as they are both supplying power which is causing a crash!

My grand mother have stright talk home which is bascially the same thing as verizon wireless home phone which both is basically cellular phone service. It is really $19.00 a month with gov fees in United States for Stright talk home purchase at [walmart or strighttalk.com]. But, it is about 40.00 month for world wide calling unlimited. calling for the $19.00 pre paid a month Untied States calling is unlimited for the stright talk home device. . if your using the internal wireing wall phone jack in the house then you have to disconnect the copper wiring at the gray land line network box on the side the building. you, either pull the copper wires inside the gray network box or unplug the plug in the Network box on the side of the building that is the main phone land line to the telelphone electrical pole and do not cut the main black wire. It is ok, to unplug the colored coded wires inside the gray network box. you will need screw driver to open the network box on the side of the building that is the land line gray telephone network box, if you do not then you will have the automated operator interrupting and making noises that interfear with the stright talk device connection. it is nothing wrong with the stright talk device when that happens. it is your lack of knowlege or lazyness not willing to do what it takes to disconnect the land line phone service wireing gray network box to the electrical pole wireing,. Purchase a four way telephone adapter spliter and connect it to the stright talk home device or verizon wireless home phone device. one six wire phone cable wire RJ25 or RJ12 [cyberguys.com] to the wall plug and one to the four way adapter connected to the device and one six wire phone cable to the wireless base station bluetooth and direct 6.0 home phone base station and purcahse a DSL fiter adapter that is connected to the four way spliter which the DSL filter adapter that is connected to the Wireless DSL Modem. Then you can dial into the internet dial up internet service. stright talk home and verizon wireless home both is really cellular service. to work properly you need the new home wireless with base phones that have bluetooth and direct 6.0. you need also, bluebird.com prepaid card or checking account payment processing card to pre pay the service every month. when the number is properly dialed then the device sends a sound blup then the device dials the phone number. you can take the device with you anywhere you go just buying three prong female plug inverter for vehicle [automotive section at walmart] and you just get regular wireless feature bluetooth & direct 6.0 base station home phone and make calls while traveling. Also, if you get DSL filter plug and wireless DSL Modem then you plug that into the streight talk device using four way spliter plug adapter and then you can use bluetooth & wifi smartphone and dial into dial into internet connection number then connect to internet. where dial in internet runs about 9.99 month for unlimited internet service that is seperate from stright talk device and verizon wireless home device that is really cellular phone calling device.. google voice is free and can make free phone calls in the united states but it requires internet connection. hopes that helps and have a great life.
