I had that LG accolade from March 2010 until Dec 2017. Held a charge for 5 days, never dropped a call. Excellent phone. Got the revere 3 because one of my friends got a apple Iphone 8 and once in a while, the texts from that phone only would show up as black boxes. REvere 3 is a slippery, hard to open turd. The clear button is right underneath the scroll down button and after texting a page, it cant keep up with the speed at which I text. Got a Revere 2 for $45 from ebay and it's much better. It's a lot like the accolade except no black boxes with incoming texts.

I'm about to make the same move with the same phones. But I hesitate because I don't like the extra bulk! The old phone was / is so nice and small. How do you like it a few months in? Sound quality okay?

Argh! I was hoping to see exactly how to remove the battery cover so I could send a link to someone (they have never done that before). In this video he mentions how hard it is to get the cover off, and it looks like he's going to show you what he's doing, and then - EDIT- he jumps ahead and has the cover removed. Arg!!!

My phone's down and i thought I'd use my sister's old lg. I came here to figure out how to open the back since I didn't want to force it and break the plastic cover :) thanks!

LG makes really good basic reliable phones. My first 2 phones where LG and I plan to go back to a basic flip phone after my IPhone dies.

strpl2 very good I usually get 2-3 day with just talking without charging very long battery life.
