Hi We have a 2020 BC1000. My husband is trying to replace the fuel water separator. By chance is there a video out there on that?

Not that I'm aware of, but tech support at Vermeer is usually very helpful: 888-809-5640

@@travisthetreeman thanks! They weren't on this issue. But after a little aggravation, he figured it out. Thanks!

Where did you get the spring loaded markers?

Amazon. Look for the one for snowplows. Those guy use them to prevent damage and they work great!

Would you go gas or diesel if you did it again? In my state you don't have to register/plate a chipper if it's under 10,000 pounds and you aren't storing/hauling anything on it.

I've run both and prefer the gas. Not much power difference in my opinion between the two. Fuel economy is the only downside on the smaller chippers, but the cost of repairs is higher on diesel...plus the initial purchase price. We run a BC1500 gas currently and love it. 45 gallon fuel tank solved our fuel issue...plus it eats fast so we run it less.
