Vermillion: Uncounted (Maui Fires 2023)

Shameless Mayhem is based on Maui, Hawaii. This painting was done right after the Lahaina fires in August, 2023. Many articles showing the rising count, and I can't help thinking of all the homeless, pets and animals who also perished and will never be accounted for.

Wow! I was wondering if you’d be doing a series on quilltv or quill theatre? That’s the 3d animation and drawing program in the oculus.

Pensée depuis la France ... Il y a un an je perdais ma maison dans les incendies dans le sud ouest de la France et un an plus tard c'est chez vous à Maui ... L'incendie est une scène surréaliste quand on est confronté à lui et je comprends tout à fait le besoin de le reproduire sur la toile ... Bonne continuation à vous.

So sorry Maui was hit so hard. I hope you and your friends and family are as well as can be and safe. Sad but beautiful painting. I'm glad you are ok enough to let us know. ❤❤❤❤

Maui Strong! The healing is happening, and Maui is pulling through. The Lahaina Banyan Tree survived, and the rest of the island is open and everyone is helping the island ohana (family). Thanks for checking in. Mahalo and Aloha!
