What towns in the USA do you recommend to live in - which are safe, pretty, there are jobs and living isn't too expensive?

You'll be getting there at the perfect time! We got really lucky with our timing in Vermont because it was exactly peak, but on the 13th a big wind storm came through at blew all the leaves off. Supposedly first week of October is a safer bet.

It’s always hard asking strangers, if there are any around, so we always just set it up and take some quick shots with our phone or camera.
