One of the smallest men in the world Verne lived a life larger than most can imagine. Growing up Amish he didn't even see a movie untill he was 17 or 18 but after seeing Little People perform in the film Willow he imagined one day it could happen. After spending some time working at a factory and for sprint he got his first break in Hollywood at the age of 24. By 30 he was a household name. There is no one in Hollywood he hadn't met and little he hadn't done. From film, to television, to Reality TV and a popular KZfaq channel. The man even had a tape scandal. But behind the scenes he was dealing with an addiction to alcohol that was bigger than himself.

He watched that film, saw Warwick, and thought he could be an actor. Years later he would star alongside Warwick in Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone, playing Warwicks future character. YOU MADE IT VERN. We miss you. ❤️

Paul Carpenter That’s not accurate. Harry Potter wasn’t his favorite movie or inspiration to become an actor. He was already acting before Harry Potter. Verne was actually in Harry Potter, but the guy at 0:26 isn’t Verne. It’s Warwick Davis. Verne originally played the Harry Potter role and Warwick did the voice of Verne’s character. Verne stopped the role in Harry Potter and Warwick went on to play the physical part in place of Verne as well as the voice. The still at 0:26 is Warwick
