He's a literal definition of "being real". He really follows his principle and mindset to the bone, not to build his "good image" as an artist but he's literally just being himself. I love the way he answered all the questions with a chill relaxing voice and not overthinking it. He answered them in a very honest way. He's so simple yet wise, humble, and his beautiful + positive mind always amazed me. Thank you for being the real you, Vernon!

I am *really* good at reading people and I can sincerely say that Vernon is one of the most chill, transparent and down-to-earth idols in the entire Kpop industry. As a matter of fact, as a fan of Kpop of more than 10 years, I could frankly say that he's the only that has given off this kind of vibe, seriously.

"I find it attractive when someone speaks coherently" this is such a unique yet totally relatable answer, and a good one too! Vernon speaks well all the time, it's very him, maybe because he's always very clear of his own thoughts. Also something I'd like to point out that rarely gets appreciate is that though he's not really a native speaker and we know his stronger language is Korean, his articulates really well in English. And I mean, when interview throws him questions, and times when he has to translate, give ments, not all can do it as well as him (not even some native speakers tbh!)

His English is impeccable (from an English teacher perspective!) I mean, it's highly impressive how he's been able to keep such a neat accent and fluency after living his entire life in South Korea when he only lived 5 years in the US!

I would def say it's native but because in the earlier years of debut he did mention that tho he's home school-ed he never gone through 'proper education' for english before (not like how we learn the basics in elementary school), he only learnt it because he speaks it with his mum!

dunno why but i feel like Hansol cannot believe that people can be interested by him . Personnaly , I really like how unique he is . Whenever he speaks , i'm somehow mesmerized by his way of talking and his intelligence . He one of a kind .

Vernon seems like the kind of person that you can hang out with without actually doing anything. Just enjoy each other's company. Not have do do anything in particular or even do your own things. But still have a good time.

첫인사부터 귀여워.. 담백, 솔직, 자연스러움. 진짜 본인을 잘 표현한 단어라고 생각함 알라딘 요술램프에 소원 못 빌 것 같다는거 보고 좀 놀람 보통 무슨 소원빌지 소원이 모자라서 고민일텐데 부담스러워서 못 빌고 기회를 놓칠 것 같다니 이것마저도 한솔이다운 것 같기도...? 너무 귀엽다.. 그냥 귀여워

I've always admired the way vernon carries himself despite being so young but he's so real and grounded. To able to have a glimpse into his view and mind make me respect him more as a person. with his values and perspective in life. About his biggest fear being revealing his true feelings, i'm suddenly being reminded when i was young, i used to have nightmares about ppl reading my diaries where i wrote down my feelings, so i always ended up destroying the diaries to stop the nightmares.

Vernon's authenticity when answering questions really shows his thoughtfulness and calm nature. He has his own way of doing things and feels comfortable enough to share it. I think it's great he has something he would be interested in doing if he weren't an idol. He's just another human being trying to make sense of the world around him and I appreciate him and Seventeen for being so genuine.

I actually respect him so much. He is honest, real, simple, humble and balanced. You don't need anything like great talent or something else to be a great person. His personality matches so well with me and I relate to him a lot. I think he is the coolest member in SEVENTEEN, because he never tries to be cool. P. S. i really love the way vernon lives. it's not like he makes life look easy or that he doesn't have any struggles, he just makes it really simple. he's very straightforward, honest and genuine. because of this his words hold so much weight. it feels like he he means everything he says which can sometimes give him a mysterious vibe. usually, people will say some truths and cover up the things they want to hide with lies but with vernon he says all the truth and simply doesn't tell you what he doesn't want to share. idk, i think it's just a really good mindset to have

There's something about the Vernon that makes you feel peaceful just be looking at him or listening to him. The way he answered those questions felt so raw and honest. He didn't make up any cutesy answers and stayed real and that's what I really like about him as a carat! Downloading mindset now!

i love vernon's humble and grounded character. as a 16 year old huge huge huge huge carat, its nice to have a refreshing outlook on the ideology of idols and kpop because its so easy to idolize the singers and really develop an obssession. but hearing such humble answers from an incredibly real person helps me develop a more healthy mindset into rooting for seventeen and realizing that ultimately, idols are simply other human beings who are trying to do their best in the system of idolization (that is, the kpop industry). so thank you, vernon! i wish you all the happiness and good vibes, and i hope you follow your true passions forever!

I'd like to listen to his stories and get to know more of his thoughts after watching this since he rarely let people know what's going on in his mind. we only know just a glimpse of his thoughts. But i really love him for being real to himself, it's very difficult to do that these days. Vernon is indeed a very unique person.

I'm a first year uni student right now, and there have been so many changes and I've been managing it pretty well, but even the act of managing things and planning ahead is draining and uses up some energy. I was still studying when I remembered that I hadn't eaten today. When I made food, I decided to watch this video (I like to eat and dine) and it was the most peaceful 7 minutes I've had since school started. Thank you Vernon for sharing your thoughts, I don't know what you're going through but know that us carats are rooting for you too

When he was asked about how svt would be 10 years from now on, I remembered them celebrating their 1 year anniversary and answering the same question. It's SO shocking to think about that those 10 years have almost gone by already!! I never imagined that time can run so fast
