Good lord I remember the first time I say this. Francis Capra raises the bar and makes us believe... Weevil should have a spin off. Still think so...

I remember watching the first few episodes and absolutely hating Logan. Then I spoiled it for myself and learned he was going to be her love interest and thought wtf, EW. HOW. And now they're my fave people.

Character development: We all know during this Logan was just hurt and try to be strong cuz of how Lily's death and Aaron's cruelty toward Logan affected him,deep down he cared for other people aside from Veronica:Look how he cared for Dick when he told Logan about his brother's suic!de. I think Logan was tryna mask the pain.

We were supposed to hate him. I spoiled it for myself too, but I also found out it was not in the original plan. But, RT saw something and turned the whole story around because he wanted to put the two together after seeing them on screen together. He wrote their story all because of that. Jason said when he first found out it was hard to even touch Kirsten the first time in a scene because they had been written to hate each other at first.

I could never understand how early on, like in this scene, Logan wasn't a fighter. But later on in the season Logan was turned into this big tough guy who gets into all these fights.

Weevil: Did you just smashed my girl veronicas headlights? What's interesting is because of Logan's arrogance his friends car got smashed. Guess Logan's is happy he didn't drive his car over.

Weevil would definitely have handed him his yellow SUV back in a box. I remember in one hilarious episode, his biker buddies were furious about someone ripping them off. They got a hold of the guy's car and took it to a friend's junkyard where they crushed it into a neat cube and left it on his doorstep!

i love weevil, but it's funny how logan kicks so much ass throughout the series and looks so weak here. then again, i wouldn't hit weevil back either

I just want to make it clear that I kind of hate early Logan, and I think Veronica should have made him pay way, way, way more before he was forgiven for any of the psychotic bullshit he pulled (probably would have meant less pain for him too, in the long run, if they had acknowledged that he was the cause of like 30% of her trust issues and he'd had to earn her forgiveness, because then he might have actually *been* forgiven), but I kind of love that when Weevil's gang shows up, Logan steps up to meet them, looking ready to face off, and then looks all confused when Weevil is actually mad about them smashing her car. He didn't think they were there for him, he thought Weevil had a score to settle with Veronica, and his immediate response was to put himself between them, even when he thought he hated her.

PurpleCheesecake I can't help but think back to this scene when you find out with Veronica during the scene with Trina in the hotel with Logan that Logan's dad was abusive. And in the later episodes where we see Logan gets beaten n is scared of his dad. Sort of makes you wonder what that joke of veronica's actually DID cost Logan when he got Home that night. No wonder he was pissed at her.

Kirsty McConnell I was thinking the same thing. When you first watch this episode you think "spoiled prick" but when you finish watching them and find out what his dad was like you can't help but understand why Logan reacted the way he did. You don't know how badly his dad hurt him over that

i never got that either! weevil is a tough guy but its not like logan was scared of him when he got into the fight with him in the bathroom and he faced him and his crew all at once before. its like they changed him later on in the series because he turned into more of a good guy.

16 years later and I still ship Weevil and Veronica. I liked the character growth that Logan had…. But I will forever see Weevil and Veronica as the OTP.
