SCENT PROFILE:
The very opening of Versace Dylan Blue is like an essence of the Mediterranean. Its dominated by significant aquatic notes accompanied by essences of grapefruit and Calabrian bergamot with slightly woody accords of fig leaf. After a while, you’ll detect a combination of velvety ambroxan, soft and woody papyrus, and the honeyed notes of an earthy, soapy hint of patchouli. Spicy incense with a touch of smoke, sensual musk, and rare saffron will then show you that this fragrance really is full of passion and sophisticated masculinity.

Always love to see your 365 videos, Paul! I Bought Dylan Blue in October 2019, and eversince, it's been a funny hate-love relationship between me and the frag. Back then it was a regret when the first time I smelled it cause it felt like a concoction of mass appealing chemical mess and thought that my blindbuy was a failure. I gave it a chance; wear it a few times. Surprisingly, it gave me compliments from my friends and family. I grew to appreciate it, the more time I wore it, the higher it climbed my hall of famer. Exactly one year later, in late 2020 I hate to admit that I quite liked the fragrance.. Until yesterday.. I wore it to meet the woman I love, who's also an old friend. She told me that she'll return to her hometown tomorrow, going back to her parents after seven and a half years of college. It's like a farewell party with just both of us. She told me that I smelled good that night when I came to see her, and four hours later while we were hugging each other before I left, she was dipping her face on my neck for a good little while. It was intimate. It says a lot. Today I've come to conclusion that, after the memories it has associated with, I am telling myself that-yes-I do love this fragrance. I am definetely purchasing the second bottle!

Love dylan blue…first smell was, like others have mentioned, a love hate. The incense accord was too forefront for me. I tried it a few times more with proper sprays, proper coverage and loved it ever since. Thanks for the vid Paul 👍🏻❤️p.s i always had dylan blue as the old school mature scent of versace

I replaced savage with ysl y as you could smell it almost everywhere at some point. Y was my number one blue frag but due to covid my sense of smell changed and I couldn’t use it anymore. Dylan blue is my new fav blue fragrance. It’s nice and sweet like you mentioned but not too sweet. To me Chanel’s performance is just terrible for the price they asking. Great review tho 👌🏼

Interesting that you get a throwback vibe. Never encountered that myself. My rank would be similar, but moving Dylan Blue just behind BdC. Might take Bvlgari's Aqva Atlantiqve over all of them though!

Mmm I’m not sure about the Atlantique. I don’t even rank that as the top one in the Aqva line but that’s what makes this subjective smelly juice so interesting, 😄

I'm a broke boy so I use acqua essentialle blu/Dylan blue/Eros EDP. Very happy with all of them for a dumb reach. In fact some days I kinda like essentialle blu better then Dylan blue

1. Dylan Blue - Personal Favorite BANG FOR BUCK 2. YSL EDP - Like but has a note that's off a bit, weird sweet but good 3. Sauvage - The Main Ambroxan in your face but too expensive 4. Profondo - Ok but Meh, I personally like the SUPER generic Absolu, lol 5. Eros - Flame is way better by far, Eros is weird on my skin and smell like vanilla lotion, idk 6. ANY form of BDC is SUPER WEAK. I tried to buy EDP but longevity is non existent, sampled 4 different bottles and asked for opinions, NOBODY could smell it 30 minutes later.

I love it haha... it’s fascinating how fragrances work for some people and literally die on others. Bleu de Chanel lasts a good 8 hours on me and so does the Y EDP which also is a fragrance that so many people report as being weak on them. I get great performance out of all of these and I’d say that the Profumo is even a bit to powerful and never seems to stop projecting. This is why I invited people to put them in order of preference because this Blue fragrance category is so polorising. Thanks for your comment. 🙏🏼

@@magsfrags2020 totally agree, I love bdc a lot, but my skin and clothes seem to soak it up. I probably get nose blind too. I think Blue fragrances will always be a preference thing even though they All are awesome in their own right. Awesome Reviews my friend, God Bless!

Dior Sauvage EDT (9/10) Acqua di Gio Profumo (9/10) Versace Eros (9/10) Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue (8/10) Chanel Bleu de Chanel (8/10) YSL Y EDP (7.5/10) This is after trying over 50 fragrances over the last 2 months so it's my honest judgement. I had a lot of 6/10s but this list of fragrances includes all the versatile, crowd-pleasing ones so they were near the top. Great video like always

There’s loads that you could add... light blue eau intense, aqva atlantique, ultra male etc... but I think the ones I chose are the most mainstream. 👍

They are both great value and the pour homme is a great everyday fragrance in the warmer weather but the Dylan blue is more of an all year round scent but just get both.. or even all three and you are set for 12 months. 😄👍
