Kevin Rider - It doesn't really make sense to me that if he sacrificed his daughter that they would be more concerned with weeping for her virginity and that she had never known a man when she was being sacrificed as a burnt offering. Believe this relays pretty clearly she would have remained unmarried serving in the tabernacle or why mention her virginity as though it's the main thing someone would have wept over. - Also with what the later Rabbinic traditions say happened, I can see with Jephthah being a Judge but also 'the son of a prostitute' how that might influence what they would say actually happened - sure wouldn't have had good things to say about him in Jesus's day.
