Wow! I KNEW this already, and have even read these same Scriptures many times, in regards to exactly what Jesus said about His Bride, The Church. But, this is honestly the FIRST TIME, that what seemingly felt like puzzle pieces being perfectly fit together in my mind, was made possible by hearing the Jewish Wedding Parallel! It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Everything now makes perfect sense in my mind. I only now wish that EVERYONE ELSE that I know could also enjoy connecting all these parallels together, by knowing and understanding the history of the traditional Jewish wedding ceremony. I LOVE even the fact that in those times of Jewish life, families all lived TOGETHER! I would love for more families to understand the value of family, and honoring our family members whether young OR old. It's lovely. May we all have the proper amount of oil in our lamps dear Gary Hamrick, and bless you Sir, for helping me to open my eyes even wider for the spiritual faith of our Savior, Jesus Christ. What a high price he paid indeed, for all of His children, that he truly loved. How anyone could refuse His wonderful Invitation, especially knowing the high price He paid. This is great, thank you. Only thing missing is that in a traditional old Jewish wedding the bride and brides maids go out to meet the groom who is on his way to the marriage supper and they escort him to her father's house where the marriage is consummated after supper, then the bride and groom go to their new addition on his father's house. This is a very important piece missing if you have an ear to hear.
