Leafeon is the exception, really. I'm sure it's the only Eeveelution to be herbivorous. Of course the sharp leaf on their head and their tail would do a number on you, but they only fight in self defense or to protect their friends. If a Leafeon saw fit to lash out at someone then I have no sympathies.

with it's body type it's most likely closer to a maned wolf than any cat species. note the large ears, long legs, small head, tail shape. although technically all eeveelutions are foxes as eevee is a fox though some will have different body types in relation to what they're based on like espeon which is based on the bakeneko or two tailed cat which is why it's extremely feline looking and has a double tipped tail.

80% of footage depicting Sylveon as a cold-blooded killer in the wild. The last 20% is the only time in the cartoon Sylveon is with a trainer and not acting vicious. Talk about a tonal shift.

It isn't dark, most Pokemon are made dark in the Pokedex only.

I love Sylveon so MUCH my favorite eeveelution by far and one of my favorite pokemon types is fairy type but that animation for sylveon hunting its prey was dark ;-;

The Pokedex is not information to rely on. Sylveon is totally wholesome in the anime, at least that part is confirmed, unlike the other.

Adorable Pikachu that is the anime which is way different from the games. The manga is closer to the games.

Anyway, the entry is from the games (which is carried into the anime as well) and even in the games the entry is wrong, a clear contradiction when the entry says it cannot be found in the wild (which is true) and when it tries to "explain" how it hunts in the wild (it doesn't even distinguish between a wild Sylveon or a trainer owned one). This is not the only contradiction the Pokedex makes, there are at least a hundred more from other Pokemon.

@@ummhumaira9824 Wrong, dude. Feelers refers to both tentacles and antennae, since they're both used in the same way. *Feeling* their environment. Tentacles aren't even used as arms. The parts that grab are the suction cups.

1:08 I wonder if they got this idea from a story featured in a grade of a literature course I went through. The main character was given the power to discern a person's true nature by feeling his hand. With this power, the main character was able to learn that a king's servant was deliberately keeping the king sick by putting a little poison into a drink he was claiming to be medicine for the king's illness.
