@@emilekaram6094 They did make more mistakes for sure. When they had a very decent lead races were still exciting as there always remained a slight chance of a spin or a visit to the grass. With Max that simply doesn't happen unless his lead is so large it doesn't matter.

Of course, he makes mistakes. He is not a god lol. I saw him in Montreal.and at some point, he went off on the grass. But you have to recognize he makes fewer mistakes than his rivals.

I’ll tell you, he’s even the quickest driver on one lap although Lando, Lewis and Charles are somewhat on the same level in that regard. In consistent racepace, only prime Lewis comes close

If Lando starts winning, will Zak say the same about his car? I think not! Zak needs to chill and concentrate on HIS team. Max probably can't keep up with this all season long. No Checo to help, against 6 competitors, making no mistakes, etc etc. Red Bull has some work to do and Checo needs to return from his holiday!

Last year was the most dominant for RB, much more than Seb's era. Now this season is already like or even better than 2011 and 2013, and is close to become like 2010 and 2012. Imagine if we have a season like this next year and yet Max still wins the Title before the last race, this will show then that he's better and superior to Seb and even Prime Seb. He is already in fact, but this scenario will clarify it all for everyone

Managing the gap. If Lando would have been closer, Max would have gone faster. He was able to go faster as he showed in the last 15 laps. When needed, he was faster.

Why do you people keep insisting Lando could've potentially overtaken Max if he had a faster pitstop? Like do you guys even have brains and analyze the situation after that pitstop? I really don't get why McLaren fans blame the pitstop when clearly the reason why Lando lost was because he botched the start and lost position not only to Max but to George. After Max overtook George it was already game over.

@@patriots101 No, but it has to be brought up. I am a big papaya fan.. BUT, people that think Lando was "catching him" need to pay attention to when it got to 5 seconds.. Max kept it there or higher until like 5-6 laps left.. Then lifted and coasted to "be safe" IF something would've happened like it bobbled a corner or something, he would've just ran another quick lap and kept the gap.

Yeah, he will have to install it in the cockpit so both can be done at the same time…..😅

yes and no. Max repeatedly asking for more diff is an indication he was melting the tires away quickly. Luckily for Max, Lando's tires went off the cliff towards the last laps, thus stabilizing the delta. That was definitely a gamble from the race engineers though.

If you’re watching the Crofty commentary vs Alex Jacques and Coulthard commentary, DC says so many times how Max is well aware of the gap and is just managing. I’d highly suggest watching the f1 tv broadcast vs the international. Much more in depth and realistic 0 dramatization.

it was more then the start. Think if McLaren got him earlier in for softs, there was for sure more life in the tire at the end.

Landos softss at the end were used and not fresh like Maxs and lando was ripping them apart it would be interesting to see what could have happened if they carried on racing but they were racing knowing how many laps they had to go so they raced accordingly. Personally I feel lando wouldn’t have overtaken max

Max got the win by overtaking Russel. When it was Lando's turn to overtake Russell his softs had lost peak performance. Crazy how a win is decided on the first turn at a benchmark track.
