By Request: It looks like vanities and closets are the favor of the season with the Barbie Extra and Rainbow High’s new play sets. And we were asked if we could DIY an easy one for less… so let’s give it a try. The best thing I find about your version of doll house furniture and accessories is the neutral colors... I find the available ones a little ott! Just my opinion though... 😍

I love your DIY! You could make a double version, add a hinge n latch (so it can close like the Rainbow closet) or maybe incase it in foam board then add the hinge, latch and a handle. Toya, you always get my creative juices flowing! You're a wonderful inspiron! 🤟💜🤟💜🤟

Yours looks best to me, to be honest! The RH closet looks heavy and clunky and the Barbie Extra set has a lot of weird items like the large makeup cases that I can't understand! Yours looks easy to personalize for any doll

Hi Froggy! 🐸 How about using strips of foam board to line the seams so the uneven areas aren’t noticeable? Your versus videos are my favourite, as well as dollar store vids and challenges!! Thanks for being fabulous ❤️

The rainbow high one was great Bc it’s own carrying case, definitely a must if you are short on space and need that storage. Great video!

I love the end result! I own the Rainbow High closet for the extra clothes and the portability factor (the lock and handle make it easy to sit a doll inside and carry with me for outdoor shots) but your DIY blows the Barbie one away, so much cuter and versatile 💕

I think the DIY definitely wins. I like the neutral colors that can work with any setting. While I love the Rainbow High Acrylic because it is also kind of neutral, I am afraid of scratching it. Give me something that I can buy, glue together, and bend back into shape as needed, and I am in love!

I thought this turned out very well! Simple materials, but great results. At first I thought the mirror would be too small for the space as well, but I think you filled the rest of the space well with the string lights and photos. Maybe if you wanted to add some color you could do some poster/foam board with scrapbook paper and place them inside the mesh containers? I also think some diy storage cubes with handles would look cute in the square mesh containers. Good work!

honestly this diy is so easy inspiring for those wanting to start but not wanting to jump all the way in. i’m going to keep an eye out for storage units for this and im going to start saving my cereal boxes because I wanna make a little doll area so I don’t have to spend 70 on a play set. love you froggy !!!

I love the DIY vanity but maybe hanging panels in front of each rack would have been a neat touch and then pulled back or aside. Kind of like a New York type set up since it seems very "new to the city" vibe.

Toya,you hit it out of the park like always. Great job. Your verses are always great. I like the streamlined black and white color scheme,so clean looking. Have you seen the little paperboard/cardboard drawers that dollar tree sells? They have 2 drawers you could stack and glue then together add some beads for feet/ legs. Maybe wrap them with paper or paint them. They come in pretty printed patterns. I am going to do some like that. I am going to make some doll rooms. My little niece loves to play Barbie with me. The other day she watched your sock dress video and loved it. I made a backpack with paperboard and fancy duct tape with elastic for the straps and closure. And I made a dress with small print black and white gingham check fabric. She was thrilled. It's so much fun playing with a 4 year old. My best to you and your family. Keep on crafting.💓💓💓💓💓

You rocked it! I’m so happy You made a closet that did not involve me cutting foam board 🤦🏼‍♀️ because that is difficult with neuropathy. Let’s just leave it at that. I wish @target had their cheap section online also because it’s my favorite and I want to get these mesh storage units without having to move from my bed. Making that chair looks easy but I am pretty certain that my cut outs will not match abs the sides will not look clean. But I can always use a Barbie chair or make a fluffy round stool instead. You did a fabulous job and I will love having this as my mini’s closet. Well done!!! 👌

I love your diy. I guess the RH, then your’s. Not happy with the Barbie extra because the clothing rack has an unusable part and the big clunky makeup parts. Now price point, your’s first.
