Hi, good animation! Many thanks. Could you please advise what we would have if we place a throttle between DC and check valves? From my point of view we would have issue with check, wouldn't we?

Hello. I have the same problem with my hydraulic top link on my tractor. Is it right to install a needle valve after the dpoc valve on the rod side? And how can i choose the right needle valve?

Yes a needle valve always has that effect. You've got it. Even worse, a needle valve on the rod-end port can actually intensify the pressure from the blind-end port, due to the difference in surface areas on the opposing sides of the piston. This pressure can rise to a damaging level if all factors of the system design and the cylinder usage are not accounted for correctly. I hope that answer helped. Thanks for writing. - Carl

Hi Anubisdota. Not a stupid question at all! We build these simulations from scratch, one at a time. They're built using the same technology as websites (HTML, JavaScript, SVG). So, unfortunately, there's no software package available to help you build your own animations.
