Damn, these look awesome. Love my Verum 1's, so I can't wait to get a pair of these. Might support the Kickstarter if I have some spare cash. Best of luck to you dude.

Verum1 is in my opinion the worlds best sounding headphone. They are my reference sound for choosing and calibrate speakers. I therefore just ordered Verum 2 without any hesitation on Kickstarter.

Yeah. I have 2 ones of the Verum 1, too. The original and the mk 2. But unfortunately I have only one head. So now, with the new Verum 2 I will have to grow 2 new heads. They say that's difficult. But I can do it. I am very - very positive.

Nope. The highs are not the best. Try LCD-X in comparision, then you hear it.

@@Byron101_ _"... Nope. The highs are not the best. Try LCD-X in comparision, then you hear it ..."_ Yeah. A bit unfair. LCD-X is 1200 usd. Verum1 is 350 usd. And Verum2 will be 500 usd. We'll be still under the half of the LCD-X's price. And we didn't hear Verum2, yet. Who knows, maybe it'll make the LCD-X to cry.

I love Verum 1, best headphones I have either owned or tried. And it's not even close. Instant Kickstarter backer. And feels great to support an Ukrainian company. It's such a win win for me on every possible level. Thank you for your hard work.

I had the chance to listen to a couple of realy expensive headphones (almost all Audezes from MM-100 to LCD-X to LCD-5) as well as some cheap competitors (Planar the II) and dynamic headphones on Superbooth all side by side. In all honesty, the only ones I realy liked where the very expensive LCDs (3,4,5) and a little surprissing the Austrian Audio Hi-x65 dynamic headphones and the HEDDphone 2. My criteria were not only how "smooth" they sound in terms of pop vocals or rock drums or guitars etc. I personally think the real strength of a headphone comes to shine when the mix gets realy busy with a lot of small transient hits, dynamics and a lot of instruments playing together (e.g. orchestral music with lots of percussion, maybe synths etc.). So imaging and source separation/resolution is quite important for my taste. The Hi-x65s as well as the LCDs 3-5 and Hp 2 were the ones that did fit these things quite good, others (also the LCD-X) kind of "smeared" the sources together and it was kinda hard to tell were the sound of the trumpets or brass section or even some strings came from (despite no real trumpet gives you a low end that blows your mind as it's the case for the LCD-X). That being said, does anyone have experience with the Verum 1 (mk2) regarding those criteria? I'm realy looking forward to the Verum 2s and won't hesitate to buy those if they make a song a true "composition" rather than a cluster of sound.

I think passion should be supported regardless the price. But for many companies I feel the prices are ridiculously high for what you get (especially in the HiFi section) If the current available reviews of the Verums are true these headphones have the potential to compete with the very big players in the industry (2k+ headphones). Gems aren't made by well known companies only. Sometimes we have to dig a little deeper to find the real ones. Respect to you Igor and your team!
