It has been a long time since we caught a massive size of fish by live bait. For the past months, fishing in Abu Dhabi is a little salty.
Sometimes, we were thinking of trying deep sea fishing; but we believe, shore fishing is more exciting because you are literally just waiting for a hunter fish to come nearby the shore. It is some kind of a luck.
But also, with all the efforts and perseverance on shore fishing, you will definitely get your harvest. Just stay positive and take care of your baits. And sometimes or oftentimes, I pray. Seriously, I pray that we catch a gigantic fish.
This is the latest on our long time favorite spot here in Abu Dhabi - the AFOC spot or the Lday Officers Club. This place became so memorable for us and from here, we have met a lot of fellow anglers and had a good acquaintances with them. I miss Sir JC. He owns this spot before. This spot became his haven on catching big king fish, trevally and barracuda when he was still here in Abu Dhabi. I just hope that we shall meet again. Because they already went back to the Philippines for good.
For this episode, I thought that we will go home unhappy. Because for long time, we have noticed that AFOC is no longer the best spot compare to before. Kabasi fish is also gone. And there are so many small fish on the shore. I guess that is why big fish is not biting on live bait.
