Today im taking a look at the upcoming Jordan 1 True Blue! These are, according to Nike, Inspired by the Jordan 3 True Blue. The are lined up to drop January 14th for £165/$180. Theres a bunch of details to get into with this Jordan 1 o be sure to catch the full review!

I am so happy these did not get so much hype. It is a great looking sneaker and very confortable as well. Thanks to the lack of hype and the non-understandible hate they received, I was able to buy them under retail, but is already one of my favorite sneakers.

Hopefully this is the release where whoever wants the shoe, can get it without the hassle. I may pass on release day but I know I’ll eventually add to my collection. These are made for gray jogging pants for sure👌🏾

This Jordan 1 is the new model going forward. It debuted with the Lost and Found. This is just JB trying to get a better shape. As they’ve done with 3s, 4s, 5s, , 7s and so on.

Pretty sure they changed the AJ 1 mould starting with the lost and founds. The swoosh is a bit larger and the tongue tag looks different -- more retro. The Gorge greens have the same differences as these. As for the shoes my new years resolution was to buy less shoes so these are gonna be a pass. Definitely not a bad pair at all though.

I actually really like these. The leather looks decent, i like the bigger swoosh and the embossed wings logo. The toebox shape looks good too, it doesn't look all boxy like it did on the AJ1 Heritage. What I'm not liking is the price tag. Is Jordan planning on upping the price of AJ1s by $10.00 every year? I could have sworn AJ1s were $170 last year and like 2yrs ago they were $160, but now Jordans gonna charge $180.00, screw that.

Which is why I don't buy em anymore. I'm not spending that kinda money on a shoe everyone has. And before some sheep says everyone has every shoe... no they don't. They don't have Nike Skatemental SB, or Rowing Blazers Kswiss, or diadora MI basket, or adidas consortium twinstrike. Hell or Reebok club C crest. It's all about going the road less traveled

If they're not board lasted with a poly insole, they're not built to '85 specs. They're built to the '94 specs, like the Lost and Founds and Gorge Greens.

Every J1 now has the L&F shape moving forward. That is why they've said they are inspired by 85s. JB now does L&F J1s, and 85 cut J1s.

I believe the shape is the same as the Lost and founds which they said were based off of the 94 era of Jordan’s!! Not 85s
