I love the look of those RhinoCarts too. I can't remember if I saw Dirt Monkey's feature on them, but probably so. He's such a resource for these shows. The Flex-Sign USA folks should send a half dozen of their signs across for plowing season. Hard to imagine that sort of publicity not taking them to the next level. Those signs are lit!

Those Rite in the Rain notebooks were almost standard issue on the flight lines when I was in the AirForce (03-11). The attendant didn't say it, but if you combine those with Fisher pens... You can write perfectly legible notes even if it's soaked in JP8 and hydraulic fluid. And those FlexSafe signs have me wondering about all the possibilities for them.

The road closed barrier is fantastic. I work for a public utility and we lug heavy stands and signs around every day. We have to then put 4 to 6 cones on either side and people run them over. This takes up less space than our signs by themselves. Super quick deployment. Can we change the sign out? From road closed to Sidewalk closed or even Detour with arrows? This would be amazing to have.

If the rivets in the collapsable road sign, are galvanized, or stainless, this would be needed to make the product great. Usually the weak link, is steel rivets, rusting, and the holes they are in, rusting, and tube failure. Especially on the bottom, with wet sandbags constantly on them.

That bouncing squirrel toy is awesome. Looks like a lot of fun for us humans too. Kind of like rock skipping. My lab was in great shape at 14 too. We have a private trail and river access, so we would take a daily walk and he would swim almost everyday. Cold or hot, rain or shine, he couldn’t wait to swim. I would put a harness and long rope on him at times in case the current was too fast. Made it to 18, no weight or joint problems, even being huge, 125lbs lean, for a lab. He was an obese 155 when we got him. Lived in a house in the suburbs with no exercise. He would flop down exhausted after 5 minutes just leisurely walking at first. Miss him every single day.

As a former firefighter, I think the barrier(s) are the best... that way you don't have to use an engine to close off a street...then you can use the engine where its needed. The "hammer helper", you can use a scrap piece of wood (easier to pull nails, protects your main wood, keeps the nail straight)

We do offer sandbags to go along with the units for extra protection! But while no certified wind test has performed, a prototype was tested in an U.S. Air Force contractor’s wind tunnel and met their standards!

Rite in the rain is legit. I have been using there products for years, my go to for my daily journal as a former asphalt foreman. I never had to worry about it getting wet from sweat in my pocket. Pens are also awesome, just more expensive than your normal pen

I'm wondering how the road closed sign is going to hold up to wind. Might have to add some weights to the legs

The last thing a carpenter needs, is an extra gadget in his tool box. Hammers, especially wooden handle ones, are designed to pull the nail sideways to the hammer, not roll back. But, I do have a Craftsman rotating claw hammer. All metal. Not the best everyday framer, but, imagine folding down the claw, for in between stud use, hammering, and nail pulling.

My dad taught me to bend the hammer sideways with the claw if you need more leverage. It bend the nail but you can hammer it back straight.

I live in Pennsylvania. Our state mascot is the traffic cone! Sitting in traffic today, I was thinking something along those lines. We have so much road construction, we have companies that just do traffic control, and signage for road work.

Lol. I guess that's the only good thing about Minnesota winters - no road construction when it's -20°. But don't worry - we make up for it in the summer.
