Every day at work, i have to ensure, that every part is absolutely free from even the smallest scratches (u have to be carefull by using a micrometer or caliper), because the customer will not buy it, if it has any visible surface issue, even if it has no influence on the functionality - what is crazy, and a gigantic waste of time, money, energy and other resources. And than u see these guys, cleaning their parts from chips buy slapping it on a steel plate, or hitting roller bearings with steel hammers, what definatly has big influence on functionality - both ends of the scale and both are not the best way to deal with precision parts. But i like those videos, because u see the creativity these people have, with that old equipment - and no job seems to big for them. They just do it... often in very unconventional ways.
