Watch this 3 hour long relaxing video of a large waterfall. Some play this video to relax or for insomnia to help them sleep. Nature sounds like this waterfall, ocean waves, rain, thunder, and lightning help lullaby you into deep relaxation. A waterfall produces a calming noise similar to white noise. White noise also masks ear ringing (aka tinnitus ).
Filmed at Sahalie Falls, Willamette National Forest, Cascade Mountains Oregon in 2010 using a Canon HV30 camcorder and Zoom H1 stereo microphone.

I actually walked up to and touched this waterfall. It was no longer tourist season, and I was the only person. So I climbed over the moss covered rail, and nearly face planted myself bc I was wearing converse shoes, but I cannot put into words my experience. I could have sat there for hours but I got soaked wet just from the mist created by the water hitting the pool; it lays across the whole area like a soft, fine blanket. I will never forget, nor do I think anything can replace the peace and tranquillity of such moment. And no I didn’t damage or contaminate anything, and no one should ever do what I did but needless to say, it’s unimaginable and breath taking.

I discovered this video because I had foot surgery and was bedridden for a fortnight. I was used to the sound of air conditioning or fans (which I used to turn on even in winter lmao) but since that discovery, I have literally fallen in love with the sound of the Sahalie Falls! I've been listening to it every night for three years now, to fall asleep, but also to study, to read, to do sports or to take a shower ! So thank you for this wonderful experience!

I'm grateful to have belatedly discovered that the perfect treatment of symptoms of my tinnitus (chronic ringing of the ears) is waterfalls audio recordings like this one. There's no medical cure yet for tinnitus but white noise is known to mask ear-ringing for many sufferers so that one becomes blissfully unaware of the ringing, temporarily. White noise audio created using audio software also works, but the natural white noise of waterfalls and rushing streams works just as well and is more pleasant to hear. Plus the water has added relaxation & mood-improving effects. So, thank you for the upload.

Have you tried meditating? Focus on the cause of the ringing. Maybe you just need to clear your mind & allow your brain to have true peace & quiet. No noise no thoughts or dreams, just conscious silence.

As a note, the noise produced from waterfalls is not white noise, but is something known as pink noise. Which is produced by a variety of natural phenomena. 'Pink Noise is often considered a superior sleep aid to white noise because it more closely mimics sounds found in nature. The frequency profile of pink noise has the same statistical fluctuations found in all sorts of natural phenomena, including waterfalls, heart beats, the firing of neurons, and even quasars, the most distant known objects in the universe. It's great for sleep, meditation, masking unwanted sounds, and many say it works wonders for tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Because it closely resembles natural sound, like that found in the womb, babies and toddlers love it for nap time too. Pink noise (also called flicker noise, fractional noise, or 1/f noise) like white noise, is random, but because it has equal energy per octave, it has more low-frequency sounds than white noise.'

@@StraySigma Do you have tinnitus? Some people have a very hard time. My tinnitus is constantly changing. I've had it for under four months. It's a very stressful condition. Some people NEED pink noise in order not to lose their minds. There is no cure for this shitty ailment.

Another HIT from Hansende, perfect if you have some really bad bad neighbors. The trick is to have the hard core white noise mask the noise pollution and then use some fresh form fitting foam earplugs to knock that down, sweet dreams!

This is the best rain audio I've ever heard, it has an instant calming effect. I use it every night now and I'm sleeping so much more deeply than usual and when I do wake during the night I fall straight back to sleep without heavy thoughts taking hold of me and keeping me awake.

You only have to believe in what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross at Calvary, He died for the sins of the whole world and that's including you, so why not live for Him? Because He lives, I can face tomorrow! It's all about Jesus Christ's precious blood - Romans 3:25 - Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Believe and trust from your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins and resurrected to save you and is coming back very soon, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. 1 Corinthians 15.1-4 saves lost souls when you truly believe from your heart. Jesus Christ paid the death penalty in our stead and nailed it to the cross. Trust in Jesus Christ to save you from hell, Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Ephesians 1:13, saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Heaven and Hell are real, literal places, there is nothing in-between. Choose your eternal destination wisely for your soul. Time is running out, tomorrow is not promised.
