a subtle detail i think is so sweet is that denji's toast setup is a lot tidier, and aki gave him a cup of coffee for his breakfast. they're slowly making room for each other in their lives.

I would literally pay a LOT of money to see an entire anime that is just... this. This style. Something about this is just... so comforting. I could watch this all day.

A slice of life anime with this kind of art style though would be really cool. Most of that kind of genre has very brightly colored, super cartoonish, exaggerated style, but if we got a slice of life with art similar to Chainsaw Man with it's more horror-esque appearance, semi realistic color and lighting, I think that'd be pretty sweet. Just a chill, kinda terrifying looking anime about the daily live of some weirdo and his two adopted teens.

This guy seems like a lovely fellow, casually living his life. I hope nothing stops him from living his long, peaceful and uneventful life

The fact that CSM story takes place in the late 90's, make the environment and scenes cooler. I remember some of the tech and car designs from the show. Aki is brewing his coffee old school. No facy coffee machine. And there is also that about their dates of birth. Dennis would be 43 in the current year, Aki 45 - 46, and Himeno 48.

This is aesthetic perfection.

There he moves in with his coworkers from his new office job and tries to win over his supervisor and possibly date her. Pretty slice of life yall should check it out

My boyfriend doesn't understand what I'm so excited about when we're watching this anime, I can't help but fangirl every time I see some good quality animation and illustrations, that's why I absolutely love watching ghibli studios movies.

This anime really is just like those vlogs people do of their daily routines; it's just so peaceful and has such beautiful animation. Nothing bad ever happens, it's just such a good anime to relax to. I can't wait till they animate his birthday, it's gonna be so awesome to see the MC be so happy with all his friends!😄

You can tell Aki's life revolves only in reaching his goal. His apartment is almost spotless, like no one lives there, especially his bedroom, which has only the alarm clock. The first time he has "fun" in his life is when Denji and Power become part of his life. Not even Himeno really changed his life that much. It's heartbreaking. Manga readers will know what I'm talking about.

It's still absolutely unbelievable that some Japanese Chainsaw Man fans wanted to get a reboot of this anime.

The Chainsaw Man anime is a masterpiece of storytelling and animation. This is one of my favorite scenes of any Media I've ever seen. In addition to its satisfying animation, the scene shows a glimpse into the life of a character in the story… And you will not espect this, especially from an action Media (Where the everyday life is omitted)... All writers should take into account daily life. Anyway... Wow, "very satisfying animation"!

lol i dont know what it is but seeing denji and aki peacefully coexist as denji neatly exhausts his entire jam stockpile was pretty cool to see, it gave off a very homey vibe, the entire sequence was so cool

Those who are wondering, the anime is 'Chainsaw Man' which is a work of the same studio that worked for Vinland Saga, Hell's Paradise, Jujutsu Kaisen and ofc Attack On Titan. As per my opinion, Chainsaw Man manga is definitely one of the best out there, though it's NOT a slice of life AT ALL 😂.
