Michigan doesn't have lenient laws, we voted for the voting laws we have. We register to vote just like all states, the "kids" can register when they get their new license to vote as well as the "boys" register for Select Service. They "pre-register" because if they don't there's some nonsense and how it effects college scholarships; Loans applications etc. We've always had absentee ballots, now we passed a ballot initiative back when Gretchen Whitmer was running that Gov Dick Snyder pushed for to get more people to vote who live in rural areas. Especially in the U.P. where they could be buried in snow and can't get to the polls. We don't have "early voting" like other states, for example Florida. AND votes can't be counted UNTIL the day of. NONSENSE we are "lenient" for voting for what we wanted in our State Constitution.

I strongly disagree with Harry. Likely-voter polls are sparse at this point in the election. Fewer samples mean higher volatility in the trends and averages, so you can only glean a little from them. Therefore, making a reasonable assessment from likely voter polls is impossible now.

I am a Democrat and I’m going to just say it we have a problem. For several elections now we as a party have had candidates that should’ve not run for office run for office under the premise that I am entitled to this I cannot lose. You really shouldn’t run again not because we don’t think someone your age can be president of the United States, but the people look at your age and your base doesn’t smile. Joe Biden said I can win. I know I can win rather than assessing the situation and saying we would have a better chance of winning. If I wasn’t denomination his response was I should never mind the fact that someone else would’ve had an even better chance at winning.
