I’m just returning to knitting after years away. I thought that slips were always “knit wise”, if unless otherwise noted. Glad I found this video, I’ll reprogram my brain to purl or as fully instructed by pattern Thanks

@@jvallasbut the stitch would have been twisted so that's why you slip purl-wise.

Heard a tip once - always slip purlwise unless the slip is part of a decease
