I love this so much because it’s original. A lot of the other songs just feel like things I hear on the radio every other day. This song is catchy and the meaning is amazing. Along with the fact they sang in their own language and not just English. Loved

Ne, je to příšerná ubohost. Můj pohled na pop je úplně jiný. A to že smíchám jazyky, má být jako lepší? Výslovnost angličtiny příšerná - typický czenglish ze střední. Jediný okamžik kvality je několik lahodných souzvuků, to ale na nestačí.

@@tenormin4522 Specialista jak prase zjevně. Proč se neukážeš Ty co umíš. A angličtinu mají dobrou holky, mlucí velice dobře. Já žiju v Británii už pár dekád a holky mají akcent samozřejmě, to má každý, dokonce i většina Britů a národností s Angličtinou jako první jazyk nemluví angličtinou krále. Narozdíl od scouse jim de velmi dobře rozumnět. Já sem na náš slovanský přízvuk náhodou pyšná a lidi ho mají rádi taky tady.

@@robinoswald center of Europe is somewhere between Poland and Ukraine. Most Slavic countries are to West of it. Eastern Slavs is literally only two real countries and mordor. South Slavs, in comparison, are Slovenians, Serbs, Croats, Macedonians and Montenegrins, while West slavs are Poles, Czechs and Slovaks plus Slavic minorities like Sorbs in Germany, Moravians in Czech Republic, or Silesians split between a bunch of countries. The only Slavs in Eastern Europe are Ukrainians, Belarusians and orcs.

When I heard this for the 1st time, I loved it immediately. But hearing this as a live performance - I love it even better. It's just stunning, hauntingly beautiful, powerful and making me emotional. It just gives me chills. So happy that this song made it to the finals. And as a Czech person myelf I feel like this is the best entry that we've had so far at Eurovision.

All Finns I have discussed about ESC today said, that just the rap-part was like the last polish. Well, rap from Czechia is known even in Finland because of the song Hands Off Ukraine by D-Toc and Lisa Schnettner. Usually Finnish Spotify top50 is just rap.

Yeah, however I would like to see a little bit more time here for camera shooting on the faces of EACH girl in the band. I imagine it could look more strong & meaningful with some powerful eye-stare. I get those unity idea, it's awsome. However still each of them is unique and it would be nice to show it. Video showed it with not only clothes, and here they're a union but unfortunatelu (looking from TV) they' blured' somehow with each other, that is why I think this uniqness might be more clear during longer camera shoting of their faces in only some frames.

I've listened to this song several times already and ALWAYS had goosebumps. 12 points from Poland. Also, idk how so many westerners are missing the point of this song and think it's only about female empowerement when it's also about ukraine. From "You can take your hands back/ No one wants more boys dead" through using several Slavic languages to using the "help" signal in their live perfomance... idk how y'all are missing it when it's as obvious as they can make it considering the rules. The same goes for the Croatian song (mama kupila traktora), it's about Putin and it's so painfully obvious but it's flying over so many people's heads, mostly Westerner's. Slava Ukraini!

@@cutecatto17 first of all we are not pure Slavs, secondly it is nonsense about Ukraine, thirdly it has nothing to do with the Czech Republic, it is a dishonor of our way of life, it is not our folklore, it is Russian folklore and therefore we will consider half of Europe for the Russians, exactly what we have been trying to suppress for years, that we are Czechs, not Russians!! This is offensive!!! We are happy that we did not win and that we are happy, for the first time in this competition we do not care that we are in 10th place and not in the top 5. Vesna destroyed what we have built here in 30 years, namely independence or subsidizing a foreign state head down at the expense of us, the Czechs.

i was almost disappointed by the lack of more colourful/varied costuming and simple staging compared to the official vid when i saw some stills, but watching it they had so much energy they filled up the entire stage without any help. genuinely so proud of our entry this year, can't wait to see us in the finals

reading about it it seems it really is about not just slavic women but slavic countries' sisterhood and standing with ukraine, like it seemed to me, it's such a meaningful song and cleverly done, I absolutely love it, fantastic!

Ukrainians have a negative attitude to this song and see it as propaganda, because one of the members of the band is russian. The song features a verse in Ukrainian about sisterhood. You can understand this by watching their music video
