When changing grips on my bike I spray a tiny bit of hair spray in the new grip and it lubes it up enough to slide on and when it dries they stay in place. And if you change grips the spray cleans off much easier than glue.

Yes, the installation would be virtually identical to this video. The only difference would be where you mount the controller, as the glovebox area is different on an LX.

Two questions: 1) Can the ends of these grips be cut off, so they can be used on a GTS (which has caps over the ends of the handlebars)? Or will cutting the end caps off of the grips damage the heating elements? 2) If I want to install these grips and a 12V power plug, can both of those items be plugged into the alarm harness? If so, do I need the alarm harness splitter to do that.

On a GTV-300, I guess the wire gets strapped to the handle bar then enters down the from speedometer unit?

I have the splitter that I connected to install the 12V plug on the front left compartment of my GTV 300. I originally intended to add the alarm but decided not to. Could the heated grips connect to that plug? If yes, would you guys be able to connect the plug so it could just snap on?

We saw the proper way to place these grips.What is the proper way of removing these grips (in you want in the future??).Because using a super glue,dont know how useful it is in case you went them off your motorbike.

Good day. Hello to you from faraway Kazakhstan. If it is not difficult to tell me please. I have a Piaggio ZIP engine 125 carburetor. I want to install it on the Vespa LH 50 2t scooter. Which sdi switch is suitable for starting this engine ????. In addition to the ACI503. I will not have an immobolizer. Thanks for answering.

Great video. I suspect for the newer Koso heated grips with the integrated control module on the left grip that the install is the same BUT do not drill the hole for the control module? Also I'm in Alberta, Canada, as such for ordering i would order from my location is it the Apollo model that fits a 2021 Primavera 50?

Take of the front and middle covers out. OR There should be 12 Volt supply wire already that you could "steal" some from. Like the blinkers wires. They don't have a constant 12 Volt on going so it shouldn't matter too much. Do please test it before doing anything.

Spray some water under it, and use a kitchen spoon, or something made from wood, that won't scratch the metal bar.
