In this 🛥Vessel Education Training🛥 session we are working with a single outboard tritoon on 🌊Lake St. Clair🌊 in a tight marina packed with boats.
Contrary to what we would naturally think, single engine boats can actually be quite tricky to maneuver into the dock compared to a boat with twin engines. However, the same basic principles apply when it comes to the rule of neutral and not coming into the dock any quicker than you want to hit it. One thing that the operator does exceptionally well in this example is making small corrections on the steering wheel (not throwing it everywhere) to adjust and hold the angle of the boat coming into the dock with a slight cross breeze.
🛥Vessel Education Services🛥 from The Dunigan Marine Group is perfect for new boaters, or boaters who have purchased a new boat that they do not feel comfortable running yet.
