How many records can you cut before the head wears out? ...and can you still get replacement heads. And what about blank records? I remember these when they came out and always wanted one! Can't be many out there in working condition, great to see it working in your other video too!!

The fact of the matter is that this is the worst of the manufactured factory heads. The design is beautiful, but no more. An ordinary toy. Suitable if you work as a DJ. Recorded, played music in the club and no more. Moreover, for such a price it's just rubbish, not a head. It does not have a full-fledged stereo. A true full-fledged factory stereo head has feedback coils for correction to get full stereo when recording. Plus, it does not have such a wide frequency range as the best full-fledged stereo heads. Even as they write, they very often break. And so this is an ordinary dynamic head that almost any literate person can assemble at home. Plus the machine itself is not about anything. So don't confuse it with the best heads ever made like the Ortofon DSS, Neumann SX and so on. I'm not saying that you can't work with it. Can be bought for a change, but not for the money. For that kind of money, you can really buy a good Caruso type head.
