We have new episodes every 2 weeks on @blackriflecoffeecompany I don’t want to bombard you all with these here on Fullmag but some of their stories and information is so good! I hope you all enjoy these 2 legends chat! I think I may hire one of you heathens to run a Veterans React channel so I can upload all the longer videos as well as clips. Any takers? Also... any guests you all would like to see? I’m going to have Tim Kennedy and Mat Best on for Halloween 🎃

Fun fact about "sniper". It was filmed at the jungle training center in Tully, Far north Queensland Australia. And Tom beringer approached two blokes from 2nd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment and asked for help with some idiosyncrasies.

You can notice the change in the vets during that last clip. I think it drudged up some difficult memories in them. The somber tone they kind of had (while sad) showed me a type of strength I rarely get to see and I think while it might not be easy for them, seeing that strength gives inspiration to us younger folk. Thanks for the vid guys.

More....Kyle Lamb. Bought gear from Viking Tactics about 6years ago, its roughed up through classes but never needed replaced. My actual point about Viking Tactics other than value, is that im pretty darn sure the hand written thank you I found in the delivery was from his wife. That was heart felt. The grizzled elk hunter was Will Geer, AKA Grandpa Walton. And the old boy is right, this is the most awsome mountain man movie. It had me dreaming about moving to the mountains since I was in grade school. I grew up in West Texas so the only mountains near me were just silhouettes on the distant horizon. Another joke similar to the one the fellow buried in the desert made, the scene was a man coming upon a hat on top of a snow bank. He picks it up to find a head underneath it, and the head starts talking begging the fellow to dig him out. As the fellow starts digging the man urges him, "DIG FASTER! I'm on horse back, and he is really itching to get out from under this snow. Every time he tries to buck it hurts me something fierce!" Wish I could remember what movie that was from, it was another mountain man type movie from the 70s, but that's about all I remember now days.

i joined the Army because i figured if you got shot at, you dive in a hole, if you're on a ship and get shot at, you're in the water with the sharks. Also, if i'd joined the Navy i would NEVER be able to get that village people song out of my head.... (this was before Lonely Island's "i'm on a boat" which i would sing every day if i were to re-elist into the navy..) Also i'm not gay. similarly, i didn't join the Air force because if you're in a plane and get shot at, you need to grow wings REAL quick.... and i have a deathly fear of paper cuts. i scored too high on the ASVAB and SATs to be allowed in the Marines... so... Army it was! SWEET! another Fort Sill survivor!!

Great video, guys! Two of my favorite '90s movies (Sniper and Clear and Present Danger) were critiqued! I was in high school and saw both of them in the theater! I actually LOVED "Sniper" and Tom Beringer, as an actor, in this movie. On "Clear and Present Danger", the CIA actually used the vehicle ambush scene as a training video, or so I was told, for demonstration of a bad day getting really shitty fast, scenario! That's Tom Clancy's work and it's hard to bust his chops! That guy put his time into his research on whatever he was writing. Something you guys showed early in the video made me think of R. Lee Ermy. I had the honor of meeting him before he died and getting a picture with him. He was a SUPER NICE GUY, but even still, and I was a very fit young man in my thirties when I met him, I WAS SCARED SHITLESS when I came face to face with him! You can see in my picture with him that, although it was an informal event, I was practically standing at attention next to him! Back to Tom Beringer, you guys should review "The Substitute". I LOVE that movie and I'm sure y'all will rip it to shreds, but still...

I was recently at the Cody Firearms Museum at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming - and I got to see the Liver Eating Johnson Hawken Rifle and his knife. It is a strange experience to be just inches away from those objects. If you like firearms, a trip to the Cody Firearms Museum (*not related to the NRA*) - is an absolute must. I didn't even make it to the second level of the museum, there was so much to see there.

One of the things I always liked about "Stripes" - was the accuracy of the uniforms. Lots of military movies have terribly inaccurate uniforms, but stripes was dead on accurate in every aspect. Drill SGT even has his Pumpkin Patch, you almost never see that level of accuracy. Another silly comedy with very accurate uniforms - "In the Army Now" with Pauly Shore. Like "Stripes" - it's a goofball comedy, but they got shit straight. One of my friends, stationed at Ft. Sill during filming, is an extra in the haircutting scene. The Drills and NCOs during training - were all *real* US Army personnel. It really was one of the best.
