Love this bag - I actually have the Veto MCT. Add a Wera Tool Check Plus in that top elastic pocket. Fits perfectly - one of my favorite sets. A bit pricey, but well worth it. It’s one of those things you’ll be excited to use every time you come across a situation where it’s needed.

I completely left it out on accident. I have toggle bolts, small nails for hanging pictures and concrete anchors in there so not sure if it would fit. I’ve wanted a tool check for a long time but never pulled the trigger

Nice setup! I'm in pretty much the same exact shoes.. many of the same tools, currently living in a Husky bag which is kind of awkward to carry and lacks a safe spot for a clamp meter (the 15" version of what you have). This might get me to pull the trigger on a TP-XXL or similar.. and apparently Veto's running a promo right now with a free bag.

A good headlamp is always a must especially in very tight areas.

Thanks for watching! Broke down a recycling can full of boxes with the S125V yesterday and it didn’t even blink!! I might do a first impressions/sharpening tonight otherwise it will be next weekend! You know I’ve actually gone away from my stream light headlamp that I’ve had for years. Not sure if it’s because the m12 mini rover light I had in the old bag was so good or what. I’ll see if I miss it much or not. Probably would just swap out the stylus pen light and it would fit in the side pocket.

@@EngineersPerspective701 I myself am more of a zebralight user warm tint not that painful blue from streamline.

Yep. Fenix HM60R is my go-to headlamp now. Strong main light, but I mostly use its flood LED with its nice neutral/even lighting - good for spotting paint defects and working in electrical boxes. Also has a removable 18650 battery with built-in usb-c charging.. would buy another immediately if something happened to mine.

Very nice! I did the same for my brother in law when he moved away for dental school. It was a great excuse for upgrading to Knipex, Klein, etc. over my old tools 😁!

If I showed up to a woman’s house and saw that tool bag I’m not sure if I’d be attracted or intimidated 😂 Great gift 👏

I looked at the VETO TP at the local Grainger. Really nice but they were asking $225. Pass!!! So I went to the HD. The 18in Husky was a bit large, so I picked up the 16in for $42.98.
@EngineersPerspective7012 ай бұрын
The husky was a decent bag for sure. If the 16” is the same style as the 18 maybe I would have stuck with it. Really love the veto but the price does make you wonder if there is a better way to spend it

If you still want an actual putty knife, Hyde makes a folding painter's tool and putty knife combo tool. I just got one a couple weeks ago after seeing it on Morgan's Maintenance. It's nice.
@EngineersPerspective7012 ай бұрын
Ordered one! Thank for you the recommendation. Love Morgan’s channel!

I would keep those Twin Grips in there. Ever since I bought them they have become so handy I even bought a second to have in my car. Don't need them often but when you do, you usually really need them. Vampliers are good, but not as good as the Knipex Twin Grips based on my experience with both.
