ఈ సినిమా చూసి సెన్సార్ బోర్డు అనుమతి ఎలా ఇచ్చిందో అనుకున్నా....ఎందుకంటే పోలీసుల నిజ స్వరూపాన్ని బయట పెట్టింది ఈ సినిమా. అనుమతి ఇచ్చినందుకు వారికి 🙏🙏....సమాజంలో ఇలాంటి నీచమైన పోలీసులు చాలా మంది ఉన్నారు.

అద్భుతమైన movie... పోలీసు వ్యవస్థలో సరిదిద్దుకోవలసిన లోపాలు చక్కగా చూపించారు... మన తెలుగులో కమర్షియల్ సినిమాలే కాకుండా.. ఇలాంటివి కూడా వస్తే బావుంటుంది.

చాలా సినిమాల్లో పోలీస్ లను హీరోలుగా చూపించారు. కథను బట్టి విలన్ ల పనులు చేసే కరప్సన్ పోలీస్లుగా చూపించారు. ఈ సినిమాలో పోలీస్ ల నిజస్వరూపాన్ని చాలా దెగ్గర గా చూపించారు. సినిమా పూర్తి అయ్యాక తెలిసింది ఇది రియల్ గా జరిగిన సంఘటన అని.

The first half of the movie is based of true incidents. 4 innocent tamil labourers were arrested and tortured by Andhra police in 1983 and after 14 days of hell, they were released. One of the survivors is now an auto driver in Coimbatore and he wrote a tamil novel depicting the saddest part of his life, which he says still haunts him. Vetrimaran had a chance to read that novel and instantly decided to make a film on that. The 2nd half of the film hapenning in Chennai and that little love angle, is his imagination though.

I was very silent after completion of this movie and very much scared. This look like a real story. Great action and great story. I came to understand that, anybody should leave the place immediately without discussing or waiting, if that place is not good for us. We can avoid these type of bad incidents. Please be careful of your life as life is gifted by God. You are the most important person of your family. Don’t get in trap like the situations showed in this movie. Hats of all actors and director.

The first half of this cinema was based on 'Lockup' - Tamil novel written by M.Chandra kumar. Actually he and his friends once visited Guntur, Andhra in 2005. Local police caught them and tortured them. he wrote his experience as a novel. with his permission Vetrimaran did this script.

Human rights activists made severe complaints over Chennai police saying that it was a fake encounter..Vettrimaran made the second of script inspired from this incident..

@@yuvarajavijiy No full story is real , it took place during 1980s and the escaped person was the one who got down soon ,he is the one who became auto driver and wrote this story..But he really don't know what happend to his 3 of his friends, they were found dead with one police men next day ...so that part is his imagination butreally they were dead
