My questions to Mr Maniratnam after seeing this interview roast of Director Nelson by Suhasini 1. Catering to big stars: Why are you SOOOOO dependant on big stars for your film that you have to forcefit a 50+ Aishwarya Rai in the role of 18 year old Nandini? You have a select set of actors that you repeat like Araving Swamy, Aishwarya Rai, Madahvan etc..Don't you have confidence in your craft to go for lesser known actors? Then why this question for Nelson on catering to big stars and repeating hs set of actors like Redin? The one time you went for lesser known stars we all know how it looked like - KADAL the disasterous flop! 2. Music: Remove AR RAHMAN's music and PC Sreeram visuals from a Maniratnam movie and try sitting through it. Then why this question on slo mo and Anirudh for a Nelson movie? 3. Dialgues: Oh my this really cracked me up! Suhasini speaking of when and how to write dialogues to Nelson. Why d your movies have 2 words for each sentence as a dialogue? Nelson's dialogues are extremely better and highly humourous in comparison 4. Content: You ask him why he always writes on drugs? I ask you why does Maniratnam ALWAYS either remakes a biopic or remakes an epic? Where is the creativity and originality? Ask him to wake up at 6 and write maybe that will help with creativity 5. Heroines: How intelligent was Amala? Nirosha? Esha Deol? Trisha in Ayudha Ezhuthu? Why don't you ask about heroine intelligence to your chitappa Kamal Hassan? How intelligent were heroines in his movies Michael madana kama rajan, aboorva sagodhargal, thenali, panchathanthiram, anbe sivam etc? It's very clear she is sitting here and roasting him and only Mr Nelson can answer with this much calmness!!! Hatss off to him!

Very intelligent questions from Suhasini ma'am. She asked for better female writing, and showing the therapists in a comedic manner and the overuse of slow motions to elevate the scenes. Cinema should work without slow motions as well. That's why writing has to be strong. Other interviewers should take note and simply not ask stupid questions about Thala and Thalapathi randomly.

Am I the only one who's feeling he's getting abused with his failures since audio launch? I guess suhasini is doing this to extreme and I like his extreme calmness. Wow anyone who's at this interview would be broken down and got triggered. Often she informs that she's a feminist. Also game changers is not a place for interviewing someone who already gave a huge hit. If this interview happened immediately after coco then it fits his situation where it gives a lot of space to discuss all his struggle. Ofcourse many info he gave are new to us but there's point in discussing again and again regarding his failure that too just one move out of 4. She's not a perfect interviewer that's for sure. Keep all your demotivating and feminist kind of talks at home and come to this interview with fresh mindset then interview people. Just because your husband is a great director doesn't mean that you know everything about a filmmaker. Ok let me ask you a straight question, if mani sir gives a big flop ofcourse he has given many and yes he produces all his films but on his flop movies also he failed both as a director and a producer so will you interview with same mindset and same set of questions in your show? Enough of you what you did stop it. Movies are movies. And he takes movies that are actually into a genre and doesn't much go with real life. He can't take coco kind of movies all the time and you keep on praising again and again about that movie just because it's a female centric movie? Stop it we all enjoyed that movie seeing his way of direction and not as a female centric movie. Live with the character and finish it once ends. Don't try to categorise it with your wrong ideologies. He's who he's. And I believe none of us see it if it's a hero or heroine centric movie. We go for Nelson type of movies that's it
