Kobayashi's career was completely destroyed when he moved to Caterham. But he is such a very good overtaker and such an underrated driver. When he was at Sauber he had so much talent and fire.

I like how Ricciardo, the rookie is showing Vettel, how the Red Bull should be driven, and he manages to do that without being arrogant. Vettel finally got a team mate who is actually fast. Should be interesting times ahead. I expect to hear a lot more moaning and crying from Vettel in the future.

SwiftHDX It isn't arrogance, just the reality. It's clear that Ricciardo is the better and faster driver, he passed Vettel on track more than once this season, when Vettel's car was working just fine, for example in China and Monza. Only a Vettel fanboy would deny it. The only reason Vettel won 4 world championships is because he had a superior car and a very average teammate (Webber). If he had a teammate as talented as Ricciardo instead of Webber, he would have won zero championships. I don't expect Vettel to win a championship again, he will not get as lucky as he was at Red Bull again (superior car, average teammate). Vettel is the least deserving F1 world champion to date.

The DPi Cadillac and LMP1 (or LMP2) is faster than the SF1000, now Kobayashi can stay on the lead lap, that is if F1 drove at the same time as WEC or IMSA

To be fair to Kamui, even with fresh tyres i'm impressed he could pass a Red Bull in a what can only be described as a terrible Caterham, they missed a couple of rounds a were gone by the end of the season.

Yep, he said before the first race in Melbourne he'd rather have brought a GP2 car to the Grand Prix, by Sochi he called it a "death trap". They did come back for the last round albeit Bernie had FOM fund the two Caterhams because it meant they would have competed in enough rounds to get Concord Agreement cash from the TV rights of the series. Essentially the staff of Caterham could be paid for the year and the liquidators could have a bit.

@@johanburger6109 Mercedes didn’t exactly struggle in the V8 era, the Brawn team they bought had been absolutely gutted to run on the smaller budget possible after Honda pulled out. By 2013 they’d built it up to 2nd in the WCC all while making a huge investment on the new regulations in 2014. That’s what new regulations do in F1, some teams invest early & gain from it, some teams don’t & lose out.

Vettle has no right to ask for Kobayashi to move out of the way. FIA Rules state that a car should only giveaway if its slow or having difficulties keeping up with the pace. Kobayashi was faster than Vettle and was keeping up with the pace. In all honesty, Vettle should have moved out of his way.
