Seventeen is the “dollar and a dream” personified. They’re also self producing idols. Their stage performances on their promotions during early years includes them wearing normal clothes(no designer ones), they didn’t even have in-ear monitors, just pure talent. Discography wise, I highly suggest you to react on the previous title tracks such as “Very Nice” “CLAP” “Home” “ Fear” “Home Run” “_WORLD” etc. Then the b-sides such as “Snapshoot” “Good to me” “Our dawn is hotter than day” “Getting Closer” “fearless” etc Vocal wise, try “Kidult” “To You” “Same dream, same mind, same night” Choreography wise, pretty much every dance practice is jaw dropping. If you want to dig deep on their history and how they started, I highly suggest 17Project, the one mentioned on the guide.

First I wanna say Welcome to CARATLAND! It’s an amazing journey slipping into the diamond life 💎🩷🩵✨ Most of the time new Carats start from their debut track Adore U and then go through every title track following. There will almost always be a choreography/dance practice video as well if that’s something you’re into, highly recommend. Along with BSS, some of Seventeen’s members also have solo projects such as OST, Mix-tapes, etc. The sub units also have their own songs on most of the albums as well. There is so much Seventeen content since they’ve been around for such a long time. It’s almost impossible to pick a starting point 😅

But the strongest recommendation I can give is always pair the dance practise with the mv. It's easier that way, to just watch it together one time. And their choreo really is amazing. SEVENTEEN debuted in 2015, which is almost 10 years ago. But I have to admit that the music video for Shining Diamond looks like it was made in the early 2000s. In their defence, their company was struggling financially and probably had an incredibly small budget. 😂

It would take a while but it is so worth it to go from the beginning and listen to every song. All their b-sides are amazing plus you HAVE to watch their choreography videos after each music video. I wasn't into dance before SVT but watching them practice, completely elevated my whole experience

As for me in Going seventeen.. Don't lie series, best friends, tribal games, bungee jumping, Tag, Ego, Bad clue and some other episodes are my most favorite.

I've seen the variety shows of about 7 different groups and Going Seventeen is by far the funniest. I started Going SVT 2020 but it that's too far Going SVT 2022 is great to start too. It will not disappoint! I recommend to watch Game Caterers with Seventeen and Nana Tour as well! I love watching them interact and take a break from their busy schedules💖

The cool thing about their version 2 lightstick is that it was deliberately designed to function as a flashlight. It's release came around typhoon season, so they wanted to make sure it was functional in emergencies. A fan even saved her family in a flash flood because her lightstick was so bright people could see it from a distance in pouring rain at night.

Thanks for the guide reaction. I would recommend to watch all the title tracks and b-sides(which have mvs) along with the dance practices in newer to older order. And watching some of their iconic b-sides in live performances would be better. For the variety shows, watch one video at a time from going Seventeen(or other shows ft.seventeen) whenever you want to watch the fun type of contents because trust me they're the most unhinged kpop group anyone will come across!! their predebut era is pretty sad to watch, the company was suffering financially and their futures were undetermined, it really is hurtful to watch but they do have a series of live content (without eng subs btw and its not really a requirement to watch it but it can give u an idea of how it was back then, honestly i think you should just watch compilations of it) going from the oldest to newest is a must!! their change and improvement is really fascinating to watch, they do have unit and solos but you can always do them on your own time!! i recommend doing mv and practice/choreography videos simultaneously (also maybe lyric videos because their earlier releases don't have eng subs) this is a long comment but i really appreciate you reacting to svt, you seem really sincere and spirited, looking forward to your reactions !! ❤

First, you've always reminded me of my nephew; today I just learned you are the same age 🤯 They get new rings when they release a full-album ... so, that ring is the most recent since they've yet to release another full-album since. Please please do a Seventeen series - could you do yours backwards??? Start with the most recent? Next, I beg you, do not watch anything before their debut - there's a playlist about their lives as trainees which I really wish Pledis would delete since they were all minors and there's really no need for it to still be there. But so long as people interact with it Pledis is a company and they will keep it online. Finally, just remember 3 units (Hip-hop, Performance, Vocal); Leaders subunit (the 3 until leaders); BSS (the gag subunit). They've had other pairings and they've released mixed units songs; but those are the main 5!!!
