Mario is better than like half of the DLC characters. He's better than Hero, Byleth, Banjo, Sephiroth, Piranha Plant, and maybe Sora.

@@christianokoye9491it’s not about that. Most people who dislike DLC characters is due to them generally having overtuned gimmicks to make them appeal to casual players and reduce skill gap. Their overall kit can be garbage (like piranha plant), but then they have a ridiculous gate keeping, noob stomping gimmick that is ridiculous.

How is noob stomping gimmick bad? They literally incentivize improvement. If you keep dying to f tilt buster wolf over and over, maybe you should consider learning what neutral is.
