Taehyung previously shared a throwback clip of BTS on his IG story while promoting his solo projects. Of course, he started the video during Hobi's verse.
Taehyung mentioned Hobi a lot during his solo promotion period. Hobi was already serving in the military at the time, so a fan expressed missing him in a Weverse post. Guess who replied to that post... Yep. Taehyung.
ARMY waited for that Hobi video, but Taehyung decided to go live instead. He then explained why he hadn't uploaded it yet. Taehyung certainly tickled our imagination. But he followed it up by saying he'll try to find a "warm video" to post. He did and posted it on his IG story.
Just like his members, Taehyung used the IG story feature to promote group and solo activities and also some random stuff. Hobi was mostly the main character of his posts.
Taehyung sneaked a clip of a mystery man with his face covered with a Goofy sticker. But a little detective work revealed his identity. Taehyung's birthday greeting for Namjoon was quite unique. Instead of posting a pic of the birthday boy or a snap of both of them, he posted this. Recently, Hobi took to IG Story to promote Taehyung's new music video.
When Taehyung unveiled the second promotion schedule for "Layover," my jaw almost dropped to the floor. The title of one of Taehyung's tracks in "Layover" is my all-time favorite Hobi song.
Me connecting Blue to VHOPE is more than just because they have that color on the title of their songs. Taehyung was previously asked to pick a color for each of his members. When it came to Hobi, Taehyung was so confident with his pick.
Another MV of Taehyung that reminded me of Hobi is "For Us." During credits, we see Taehyung posting something on the wall while wearing a pair of high-heeled boots. We all know who sported a similar pair before.
Taehyung's constant co-star in his music videos was Yeontan a.k.a the luckiest dog in the world. Hobi and Taehyung even have similar ways of treating him.
The color blue is often associated with the feeling of sadness. Taehyung may have found comfort in Hobi when he's feeling blue. But the color blue is also associated with the feeling of calmness. Taehyung had that certain ease when he's with Hobi.
