I'll tell you a secret bro, try to film not a beautiful chick, with attractive movements but a moment of normal life and everything will seem disgustingly depressing as only the old VHS cameras could do. Christmas films, school plays, depressing Sundays filmed by bored parents of those years, are just some examples of a good 90% of the films made in those years on these supports. good life.

You could probably get a few people together, electrical engineer and computer science guy, for example. Then reverse-engineer. You could find similar computer chips... the magnetic tape stuff, you would have to get maybe a CNC machinist... and maybe a chemist to make more tape polymers. It's all doable but there's no "economy of scale."

I got many Sony cameras. I got a Sanyo one that records on Betamax tapes, and a Sony Ruvi that records onto these weird cartridges. It looks like an old school digital camera kinda.
