I'm gonna say, not making a comeback but there's still a ton of "lost media" out there that's only on VHS. People want to rescue it.

No one buys VHS for 5 figures. Just because something is listed does not mean it sells. Anyway: People are starting to catch onto the unethical practices being implemented by media now and have realized that owning physical media is the better option, because it can't be taken from you like the digital content that you don't actually own. Not to mention there are tons of movies that never got BluRay or even DVD transfers so you can ONLY get them on VHS. (Then there is also the modern revisions of classics that you don't get when you get an original VHS.)

Fact: the video quality on a vhs is worse than on a DVD, but the sound is often much better ! I still love my music VHS tapes^

Movies are edited now. So if you are a raunch fan, get a hard copy… think Porkys, Bad News Bears, Blazing Saddles and Animal House.

I will never give up physical media for streaming bullshit. If they don't put their movies out on physical media and go the streaming route, they can count me out for even wanting to watch anything they have to offer.
