In fact, movies on Disc have actually been improving This may come as a shock, but DVDs Blu-ray and 4K. Blu-ray are very relevant and lots of people buy them.

Problem is that the front-loading type VCRs were cheaply made, mechanically problematic, and, over time, can and do jam with a cassette tape stuck inside or failing to load at all. Service shops often refused to fix them, even if they could do so in the first place. If anyone can still find a vintage top-loading VCR, it is definitely worth obtaining and easier to repair, providing certain parts, including the belts, can be found. Fortunately, I inherited a 1980, top-loading, RCA VGT-205 that is built like a tank and works fine. All of the other front-loaders I ever owned afterwards eventually jammed and ended up being scrapped. For many, the prospect of having hundreds of VHS tapes transferred to USB external and thumb drives can be expensive if you don't want to spend the time doing it yourself.

I have mostly 4K blu ray and Blu ray disc. I got rid of my DVD’s years and upgraded to Blu ray and 4K blu ray disc.

DVDs still the greatest some people have both and I still think DVDs are best😊
